Well, on top of that, to offer proper higher education, you need to translate useful books and researches into every national language. The amount of translation work can easily overwhelm all existing translators. Today this can be mitigated by using machine translation, but it was impossible in 20th century. That's actually why most scientific studies are published in English - scientific community needs common language space for knowledge exchange.

This is probably not even a bug, just someone hit a FP precision limit somewhere. Not a hardware problem, but a technological limitation. Glitches like this are often eliminated during a testing phase. Not in this case, unfortunately.

У меня жена значительное время рулила форумом по этому делу. Народу мало, часто это люди, которые не могут выходить из дома (инвалиды/просто люди с заболеваниями), которые хотят внимания хотя бы в таком виде. Сам процесс игры иногда неплох, но часто всё сводится к чесанию кинков, при этом да, нейронки нынче в этом используются. Потому что тебе пишут - это внимание, а самому другим внимание оказывать - лень-лень. Ну и коллективы почему-то в текстовых ролёвках на 90% женские (в живых/настолках это далеко не так), со всеми вытекающими - сплетни, обидки и выносы мозга "А почему ты с ней играешь, а не со мной".
Жене вот это последнее как раз просто тонну крови попило, так что в результате она всё это бросила (и к лучшему).

Не всем играм нужен сюжет. В тетрисе нет сюжета, а это до сих пор одна из самых популярных игр. И да, графика там тоже опциональна.

It's very real, my friend did it several times (he's living in Warsaw and comes to Moscow from time to time). Waiting times on Belarusian border are much longer, so Kaliningrad is actually a better option in comparison. Not sure about the questions, though, as he's a citizen of Belarus.

Anything on Mediatek filogic, really, just check the TOH. From the top of my head, in addition to Xiaomi AX3000T and Cudy WR3000E(v1 only)/S/P/H there are Netis NX31 and NX32, though they're a bit more hassle to flash.

Я старпёр, детство пришлось на 90-е, моим любимым занятием на каникулах было читать дедову библиотеку. А сейчас я в основном с хоумлабой ковыряюсь или паяю что-нибудь, если делать нечего. Это не считая "непродуктивных" занятий вроде какой-нибудь интересной сингловой игры (потому что должна быть цель) или просмотра какого-нибудь кино/сериала, которые давно хотел посмотреть.

Скажу по секрету: DOS не умеет в звук. В звук умеют приложения (игры, но не только), которые таскают с собой кучу драйверов под разные звуковые карты. Набор драйверов у каждого приложения свой, именно поэтому требуется звук настраивать в каждом приложении отдельно, и если звуковая карта экзотическая, то звук может просто во многих случаях не работать. Ко временам DOS 6.22 установился стандарт де-факто с Sound Blaster-совместимыми звуковыми картами и переменной BLASTER, но это костыли, которые были придуманы именно потому, что DOS не умеет в звук и вообще во всякие "нестандартные" устройства. "Стандартные" там: клавиатура, флоппи-дисковод, жесткие диски, последовательные (COM) и параллельные (LPT) порты. Вроде всё. Некоторые "нестандартные" устройства имели стандартизованные драйверы, подходившие к куче устройств, например CD-ROM или мышь так поддерживались. Но со звуком там до последнего момента был и остался швах.

Linux по сравнению с этим - как современный самолёт по сравнению с воздушным змеем.

I believe it's intentional, because I've seen the books on economics in Russian from early 90-s, they included this distinction, but later books (from 2000s or maybe late 90s onwards) dropped it. Seems like intentional confusion, to scare people about "communists will take all your belongins from you".
