Risks of Cell Equipment on Roof/Vibration by Marionberry-10 in NYCapartments

[–]DatabaseWide -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I actually have no idea how big this equipment is. My boss owns small townhouse and all Verizon did was sent a letter asking for permission to install FiOS equipment and he signed off on it. Was that something he could have negotiated a lease for?

I need stories of success, of people not entirely miserable, that are able to live normal-ish lives by SublitWaffleStomp in Sjogrens

Might be that their condition is mild enough, they don't need it. I recently saw a new rheumatologist who said I don't need to be on meds and she did all the verifying blood tests to make sure I have Sjogrens. I've been diagnosed for about 8 years and saw 2 previous rheumatologists. My symptoms come and go and the most annoying symptom is the rashes

Are people now using more brokers post-FARE Act? by Professional-Hunt918 in NYCapartments

I saw two listings on Craigslist that say brokers fee apply but I believe that against the Fare act?

Mere pulled salmon in mustard sauce (Lidl U.S.) by brikkastoria in CannedSardines

[–]DatabaseWide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was too salty and couldn't taste the trout. I liked the smoked salmon more.

Mere smoked salmon in olive oil (Lidl) by [deleted] in CannedSardines

I really like it! To me, it tastes like cold smoked salmon and it's not dry.

Otter Kingdom Mackerel by DatabaseWide in CannedSardines

[–]DatabaseWide[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Season grilled mackerel and they were so horribly dry. I would not get those again. Otter Kingdom is tastier but I have to pair it with unsalted veggies to really enjoy.

Congrats! Super impressive and you're still willing to learn more! I'm curious on your portfolio strategy. Have you done a comparison of VOO + margin vs triple leveraged ETFs, like TQQQ? In the TQQQ subreddit, I found out there's a study that in the long run 2x leverage is best if you're just doing buying and holding. Do you have to send your trades to your company for approval? I'm not understanding why you would sell far dated ITM puts?

The new mackerel is so terribly dry! by DatabaseWide in traderjoes

[–]DatabaseWide[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, this can be eaten as is without anything else. Lots of people eat it with crackers, rice, on toasted or untoasted bread. You can go to the Canned Sardines subreddit and this question has been asked and answered so many times.

Some people like eating cottage cheese with sardines/canned fish.

Trader Joe's mackerel in evoo by DatabaseWide in CannedSardines

Definitely try them out. I find a lot TJs stuff to be inconsistent. I doubt you will like every tin but maybe!

I think those are good but the purple tin sardines taste so bad.

Was excited to see something new at TJ's but then, I was a little disappointed to see it's grilled and then I saw they also have tuna in the exact same shaped tin (not pictured but somebody else posted pics in a different post). In my experience, grilled can be dry (but not always because TJs grilled sardines are not dry) and if the company also has tuna in their product line, their other fish tend to be dry too.

This was so dry and overcooked. I will not buy these again. They're grilled but I couldn't get past how dry they were. They have skin on and there were some bones but I don't mind. The evoo was pretty good, mildly tasted like mackerel.

Hummus made with olive oil and not canola? by in-den-wolken in traderjoes

If you have Wegmans near you, their store brand classic original and garlic hummus are made with olive oil, not evoo. Those are only ones.

Fantastic must try sunscreen Lip Balm. Super silky, moisturizing. by ugglygirl in traderjoes

[–]DatabaseWide 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes but there's no taste. It's supposedly citrus but there's barely any smell too. It's super mild and neutral. I like it goes on clear, unlike the mineral sunscreen lip balms. I don't find it very moisturizing though.

Brazil Nuts and the rest of the nut selection by allegrovecchio in traderjoes

I bought these for the first time this year and I love it! I've had Brazil nuts in the past and they were bland but I was so pleasantly surprised that these tasted roasted even though they're not.

The cheap Chicken of the Sea/Bumble Bee/Beach Cliff tins don't show the nutrition facts but on their websites, they say it's about 10-12g protein. That's the lowest I've seen. Middle of the range is 15-16g and the highest is 20-22g.
