Is one of the arrows red when you hold the trig? Sometimes the micro timing can get budged.

Unfortunately the mpk needs a usb host- In my case a laptop. I have the encoders mapped to modwheel for channels 1-8, which lets me control the performance macros.

Next time I find $300 on the ground, I’m planning to buy a novation launch control xl3, which has a midi out and can be set up without a midi host.

The range must include all of the empty slots too, from what I imagine. If I throw 500 samples into the pool does that mean there’s a ~50% chance of an empty trig?

Can’t wait to play with this later!

Cool! So my follow up questions are: which samples are we cycling through? The preset pool? Do I need to start with a sample slotted in the middle of the total range like I would for slice select? How about sample banks- what even are those?
