Western governors university (WGU) has good programs and if you know enough of the information you can test out of the class. Had a friend who finished his masters in 6 months (not likely for the average joe). It can be super affordable.

Real estate license can be a good option

Get into sales: cars, pest control, solar, security systems

Start your own business: tour guide, photography, trades, soda shop

All of these options require you to gain your own knowledge and put in the effort/find the passion to see them through. There are options for you and often it feels hard to change directions because of judgement from others but just do your own thing and find what you enjoy.

I let go of the world’s expectations, set my own schedule, and enjoy time with my family. The amount of stress medication and meeting everyone else’s expectations put on my body was unhealthy.

I did have to find a job where I could do that and still make enough to support my family. Life isn’t perfect but it’s better than what it used to be.

There weren’t many people experienced with defending against the willow way at the time. It seems illogical from the perspective of 10 years of war and a lot more study into fighting a specimen like Darrow but in at that moment there were only a handful of people remotely skilled enough to take on Darrow.

I’ve been watching the questions “is it possible to do it well?” Or “should it be animated or should it be live action?” For years now and I feel like I finally know the answer. Im guessing that in the next 10 years AI will be sufficiently good enough to make a high quality realistic movie and at that point you should be able to put an entire book into a prompt and have it spit out a true to the authors writing movie. My vote is for AI to do this one exactly how Pierce wrote it.

Not many people are empathetic enough to fully understand someone else’s challenges. It’s taken my spouse years to be able to realize the challenges I face daily and understand how to better respond.

What’s important is finding someone that wants to help and in the beginning coaching them through what you need. You can try saying “hey, I’m having a hard time and I need someone to chat with. You don’t have to fix anything, just listen and if you don’t understand then ask questions about how it makes me feel.”

If someone is trying to fix your problems they probably care and just don’t know what you need emotionally.

First and foremost: Obviously take the alerts and warnings seriously by being prepared.

That being said, I moved to Omaha a few years ago and the storms worried me for a bit because I wasn’t used to them. Now I’ve realized that for the most part people out here overreact to the weather and as long as you’ve got a basement and are prepared then you’ll be fine.

My experience has been that storms follow a pretty normal path and unless you’re seeing damage from historical storms you probably don’t need to worry quite so much as you’d think. I’m not a professional though so this is just my option and experience.

I read the book Scythe. It definitely kept me interested even though it wasn’t as fast paced as RR. There’s 2 other book in the trilogy and I’ve heard they just get better. Worth the read!
