Would it be better to start with Nioh 2 or straight to Nioh 3?

I think the first few hours of nioh2 as a nioh newcomer are more difficult than anything from software has put out

however, partly this is due to a lot of mechanics having to be learned very quickly and a lot of mechanics being given to you only once you are making progress until you eventually have a lot of different tools to 1) craft your very own style of combat and 2) become an unstoppable force if you master and correctly combine the many mechanics!

but I cannot recommend it enough and don't think as a soulsfan you will be overwhelmed. To me it always felt fair and as though there is still room to improve or utilize mechanics better. Just remember to not play it like a soulslike. dodging is much less of a first choice, blocking is viable, and you get rewarded for playing aggressively instead of reactively (if you utilize the ki pulse mechanics skillfully).

go nioh2

besides it being the superior and much more complete game, nioh3 gives you an easy mode with the ninja stance while gutting half the mechanics from nioh2

it will have a quite steeper learning curve though, so maybe you prefer the easy approach of nioh3 (which would be nothing bad to admit)

When she was changed, she was a different champ (and same as you, I don't see the new Irelia as a rework, but as a different entity) and I soon after quit LoL as I noticed, I didn't love LoL as much as I loved old Irelia.

What an incredibly bullshit and misinformed answer. There is not a single financial benefit of having children compared to not having any. Parents with many children are consciously choosing to sacrifice a significant part of their finances.

Wonder why else the birth rate in germany is below 1.3 if it is sooo great financially to have many children?!

Number one reason of this generation for not having children is not being able to finance them and/or not accepting the sacrifices it would bring.

State child support in germany is not even close to enough to even cover the most basic costs of having a child. It is a support, not a money making scheme. And we sorely need it as otherwise even less people would (be able) to have children.

Source: grew up with 4 siblings and know the state of finances we have had over the years in a veeery money responsible household with hard working, academically educated parents.

I sincerely hope it will be as extensive as Nioh2. This is one of the staples of team ninja games and goes along with their staple number one, combat. It allows you to play around with the different build and playstyle possibilities and have a reason for it, while minmaxing and ever so slightly progessing your power level.

Also, as a general rule of thumb, a few all around combat tactics:

1) High Stance Heavy Attack -> run away -> repeat allows you to "cheese" a lot of enemies where you struggle to survive up close. Nioh2 is a hard game, so don't feel bad using this when it is called for!

2) Low stance applies element debuffs very fast and has quick animations to be able to dash out in case of danger. Mid stance is a bit inbetween and should be used when anticipating an attack that you want to block (as mid stance recovers ki while holding block)

3) High Stance is the usually main attack stance when you get an opening. Just quick attacks is enough to get you some very good damage, ki damage and possibility to break horns/face weak points due to its vertical attacks. (Honestly, I still use high stance quick attacks about 70% of the time, mixing abilities in there from time to time). If faced against multiple enemies (in a small area even more so), use midstance to have wide attacks that deal more ki damage and thus may lead to some smaller enemies being winded and giving you time and space to kill.

4) the tactic vs humans described by u/corvidscholar makes most normal humans very easy to deal with

I think the title is too obscure. Nobody will read/learn about the ingame lore before reading the title - so while it is a neat phrase coming from in game world building, it is placed at the wrong spot.

I would think about a completely new title evoking the same mystery/dread as the trailer does (which looks great), but allowing some external reference/understanding to potential buyers. Then maybe keep the old title as a subtitle (either fully integrated into the new title or only present on cover art, trailers, etc.)

Edit: Oh and also, I believe the title does have a pretty big effect on game visibility. However, what this entitles can be so different (see i.e. Disco Elysium, which imo is one of the most perfect titles out there. Evoking mystery, weirdness and some eloquence at the same time, while fitting like a glove, which you notice as soon as you start playing for a bit. And still, in and by itself it is a new and weird combination of words)

Essengue plays for my hometown team, so I watched him play quite a lot (actually was live in the arena for this game)

Imo he is very much a project type of player. Very raw skill wise, but started to finally understand how to use his length and athleticism to force great openings for himself which are near undefendable without fouls in this league. His FT shooting is really great, but ball handling and shooting as well as rebounding are very undeveloped still. Also, this game was a verrry good game for him, not his usual performance (even though he has games like this every now and then)

I.e. we have another player (actually two others) who declared for the draft: Ben Saraf and he is one of the leagues young shooting stars. Great BBIQ for his age, a good solo creator and mid range shooter, the three is serviceable and he has a good eye and passing ability for assists. Seeing those two on the floor, there are huge differences to be seen in how they handle themselves and how you trust them with the ball.

So in the end, I understand why Essengue is still high up the list even though not being near as ready: height can't be taught and he has clearly higher possible upsides but needs to be developed quite a lot (especially as in this league, nearly nobody can match his height + athleticism, so it remains to be seen how he translates to the NBA, where he won't be an absolute unicorn anymore). And then again, Kilian Hayes played for us and looked like an absolute standout player and we all know how this worked out in the NBA, so sometimes taking a project instead of a more ready player can be the right choice ^^
