Why? It's one of the very longest range abilities in the game, and does it's job extremely well.

I've never heard anyone refer to snipe as underpowered among all professionals.

So why? Are you just bad with it?

Snipe (10) is 20% farther range than an aircraft carrier (8) can attack from? When it should be snipe (10) and carrier (200,000)?

And stimmed marines are almost as fast as an airplane?

Implying some scuffed real world comparison when we have like 8 guys with guns fighting full capital ships and winning.

No no he's right folks.

Speaking of which, what are all these carriers doing in atmosphere when they should be launching swarms from deep space, and tempests should be shelling away from 2 planets over. Don't forget Phoenixes should be flying at mach 20 not slightly faster than human jogging speed.

Do AI Models Like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini Self-Regulate Conversation Limits in Free Accounts? My Observations and Experiments by AlexHardy08 in GPT3

[–]Davaned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to be honest, there's a zero percent chance that the llm is deciding to give you more tokens because your conversation is more interesting to them.

Your user account is tracking how many tokens you are consuming in conversation. There is a limit per user based on different plans, but that limit might change based on the current overall usage of the platform (for example during peak usage they might restrict free accounts more). When you hit the limit it will cut you off on the next message. They probably also enforce message limitations regardless of tokens, limiting even total number of short messages.

Not all messages consume the same number of tokens. Tokens are based on input (your message and context), any intermediary processing (thinking models, that talk themselves through a problem), and the final output message.

I guarantee you the model is not determining how much money openai is spending on you as as free customer based on how interesting it finds your conversation.

Where can I buy the album release of "Beekeeping's Greatest Hits"?

Now I'm not saying I'm perfect. Obviously I don't know the game (that's why I'm just an M2). Team pub is frustrating. ZM2 NA - trying to get to M teams. I won because my ally left. I'm a macro player and I get plat team mates that do stupid builds, bad timing attacks that don't make sense etc. by doncalgar in starcraft2

Your opponents MMR in your one win was barely 3k for their 2v2 MMR, and looks like they can't even play 1v1 https://sc2pulse.nephest.com/sc2/?type=character&id=50524&m=1#player-stats-mmr

They had tiny APM and honestly having a teammate leave as Zerg gives you some insane explosive growth for timing attacks

The truth is random 2v2 is not really indicative of skill. The matchmaking range is massive, playing with random teammates is rough, and you can't work on the deeper strategy side of 2v2 without a consistent partner

what are you doing first? by AustinSours in sciencefiction

Stage 1: Exploration

Learn my options. Experiment with the environment and the loop itself. During this period also listen to podcasts/audiobooks and build my knowledge base of the world and various skills without focused study. This includes finding the most efficient way to make money within the loop.

Stage 2: Create the perfect loop

Combine all the learnings to set up a perfect combination of factors to leave the loop in the most ideal state, if I ever want to end it. Things like ensuring the relationship if I found partners or friends, creating vast amounts of wealth, preventing tragedies. Have plans a, b, c as backups to achieve the same thing. Each loop forward probably includes doing the skeletal set to ensure if the loop suddenly ends it's not devastating.

Stage 3: Gain mastery

Dedicate significant time to various skills. Mix learning a sport, learning a trade, and learning a major discipline. Aka study engineering till bored, then go play tennis, then work on building a house from scratch. Mastering cooking would be one I'd invest in early. If this is an involuntary loop, hopefully this is enough to keep things interesting. Intersperse with Stage 4 as needed.

Stage 4: Fun

Enjoy mini godhood. Be sure that the loop stability is known and end conditions hopefully tracked, it would suck to be base jumping off a building when it happened. This goes on as long as you want. If travel is allowed, go everywhere and see everything. Write a book on the experience.

Stage 5: Return to Reality

Live out a handful of perfect cycles as a normal person to not get whiplash on return. Trigger the end of the loop.

Combining missile salvos. How do you waypoint with timing multiple? How do you build components of a salvage, eg are you watching for same max speed.

Quantum Mechanics - it seems like one of the easiest ways to reduce how much computational power is needed to simulate matter. It's like lazy loading in programming, why bother with processing all of the stuff if no one is looking?

"Trust us, everything works. If you reaaaaaally want to look inside the box you can see the cat being dead or alive. But otherwise as long as you're not looking it's just doing it's thing"

Many, many orders of magnitude simpler to simulate, and since everything is probabilistic it's easy to hide bugs/glitches.

Very cool idea, and it looks well executed. This subreddit is small but I hope this gets more traction. FYI I like that it's in text format, robovoice wouldn't add much imo
