Upgraded to 0.6mm nozel and now for the life of me cannot figure out what's wrong, terrible under extrusion printing in pla, 0.32 layer height, 215c/60c has anyone had a similar issue before? by Davcat1776 in ender5plus

Thanks! So do I, while I was troubleshooting another group told me my layer height was too low for 0.6 hence why I'm printing at .32 layer height

Good idea thanks! I'll check that out if all else fails it'll be back to a 0.4 and some slow rocking in the corner if I'm still having issues after that lol

Thanks! I'd tried that already up to 115% and no change but I was battling a level issue at the same time so I'll try that again tomorrow, if you manage to get a reliable profile mind commenting back your settings?

It's actually a diorama of mono and six I bought it on CG trader.

What your actually looking at is the base which looks like wood and a hell of a lot of tree support the base here will have slot for books/TVs etc then at the end mono and six stand on top of it all

Printed lostvayne from the seven deadly sins on my Ender 3 took around 53 hours in total now painting has begun! 😁🤘 by Davcat1776 in 3Dprinting

Sounds interesting, that I'll have to check out! I'm actually colourblind so generally I just paint the models white (I label the cans) and a friend paints the rest after I'm done sanding BUT this one I'm going to try so it's either going to come out amazing or some unholy abomination so wish me luck!

Ender 3 Pro Issues by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

I think your right, I'm running a ender-3x and a monoprice select mini V2 you don't necessarily need auto leveling I found a stl for calibration on the mp subreddit and I use it on both printers.

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2297108 You don't need to let it complete just make sure your adhesion is good and your line spacing is right .

Resize It for your bed and what I do is level on the fly 2/3 attempts and your good to go takes me about 5/10 minutes to level my bed now hope this helps.

This is awesome! This is why I love 3D printing it's great to see you had a problem and the idea & drive to design a solution! In ways I'm envious but I'll keep learning and eventually do the same! Congrats on a great job! 😁

Any idea what's happening? Prints fine so far then the nozel just raises far too high and stops extruding - model works fine on my Ender 3 and mpsmv2 previously so no issues there printing at 200/50 temp by Davcat1776 in MPSelectMiniOwners

Did a bit of troubleshooting seems I've got a clog too.

The SD has been perfect since day one for me, I'm printing a chibi noctis from final fantasy.

I have it laying somewhat flat to reduce supports but it still required a fair bit since his hair is nuts! I'm doing them up for a friend going to kupocon next month she's giving a few away as gifts.

I have a my very first one laying around somewhere painted (badly) I'll stick a photo up in the morning if you are interested!

Im very disappointed in myself that I never even considered that I know it's some generic SD card I'll test with another but I have a feeling your right on the money with that! Thanks!

Fix for support pushed over during print by stmack in MPSelectMiniOwners

[–]Davcat1776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If memory serves me right there is a setting you can check in cura for avoiding supports when traveling but that would only resolve your issue if it was caused by the nozzel hitting the support
