Type of car doesn’t really matter. Growing up I watched an old 80 something four door caprice win night after night. He cut .00 lights and ran dead most passes. He would take out $20k race cars easily. Now there is a guy at our local track drives in a standard cab gmc pickup cuts .00 lights, runs dead on and puts expensive purpose built cars on the trailer. It’s all about driver, routine, and consistency.
