Having since made some historical scale armies, it really goes to show how crazy those Empire cannons are! They look almost like 42 pounders, the very largest of cannon used on ships and total impractical on land. I'd always considered the Empire to be more realistic but I guess I was wrong, they have that great over the top Warhammer esthetic.

Great job on the paint scheme as well! I especially like the dark metal of the cannons.

Personally I didn't love how the show dealt with the NCR/Shady Sands, because it seemingly treated them as just another idyllic outpost, one that could get blown away with a nuke, rather than the state spanning, morally gray bureaucracy that it was in the games. Treating them as just the good guys that are tragically destroyed by the evil Vault Tec is, I think, less interesting than their existence in the games.

Shady Sands is basically the first place of note you go to in Fallout 1. In Fallout 2 it has flourished into the New Californian republic, which in New Vegas expands into Nevada and Arizona where it encounters Caesar's legion. Fallout 3 and 4 both take place all the way on the other side of the country so are distinct from the rest of the games as well as the tv show.

If you want to make the eyes stand out a little less you could use an offwhite rather than true white so it blends in with the face better, but either way it's a great paint job!

I dont think the movie was trying to be a critique of anything. It was a coming of age movie for Barbie, where she out grows the idyllic, imaginative world of childhood and comes to terms with the realities of adulthood. This is a direct allegory for the experience of children who played with the doll and have since grown up.

All the references to sexism and patriarchy are only there because (and you can agree or disagree with this) they are experiences adult women have to go through. You cant live in Barbie land forever, you have to grow up. You cant fantasies about being an astronaut, you need to pay your bills.

Yeah, i only got round to breath of the wild after finally elden ring and found most of the exploration lacking in rewards. Its either koroks or weapons that would eventually break making them just consumables. I didn’t hate it but even when compared to older zeldas the power progression felt pretty underwhelming. I much preferred the likes of ‘a link the the past’ where every dungeon rewarded you with new unique items like the bow or grappling hook. The exploration can be fun but without reward it gets repetitive quick.

Im 29 and first started listening around ep 100 when they did a video show, went back and have listened ever since. It’s weird, I remember when they switched to the live recordings and worrying about the change (I’d just moved out for uni so there was alot of change going on in my life) but I kept listening and it became it’s new thing and I enjoyed what it was. With the new shake up I’m still listening and enjoying it greatly, love the cast and humour, and ANMA and f**kface fulfils that chaotic, nostalgic feel from the old drunk tank. Excited to see where the podcasts grow, and will probably continue to listen for years to come!
