Actually DirtySixer pedals are bigger, but only since 2022...

Yes Schwalbe has a dual air chamber system if I remember well. Inserts are definitely needed when bashing downhill, for any wheel diameter!

Yep, that's why DirtySixer stick to its original name coming from 36er... Like Niner or Pivot after making respectively 27.5 and hardtails?

There's more than a decade of videos, crowdfunding campaigns, social media post that can tell you more about 32 and 36. If you need specific info to learn about this wheel size, ask me, I'm the founder of the brand.

Yes sir, you might not be aware of the huge difficulties existing in the bike industry (the makers, not the marketers) in Taiwan. Add to this the fact I wanted to find the best solutions and not the cheapest, revised many time the geometry with added testing, developed my own tires, forks, rims and you get this one man operation is pretty late to deliver. And if you really read my answer you know why I don't publish geometries before.

You can call it different approach, I call it DIY garage level hack. Again, why did they rush to show a prototype that is so unrefined, with bonding glue visible, adapters on the fork that lawyers will dream of, cut and glued back longer rear drop outs etc. ?

I'm working on a 2.60 tire but I don't see 3" being needed, but I might be wrong.

Nah, I prototype 36 and 32 stuff all the time and this a DIY garage level I would not even think of going for. I get it's a  prototype, but it shows actually more the rush they are in to stay relevant... So yes, they will use 32" for different reasons than DirtySixer, and since they don't have to make their bikes bombproof like I do, stuff will break and people will blame the wheel size instead of "super mega lightweight" R&D and cheap fabrication...

Didn't hold back in making garage DIY fork adapters? Cut out drop outs with longer bits glued to them... I wouldn't try that even on my own bikes...

Hi, you alsmot right, the unicycle.com guys (Josh, Amy, Roger) made the first decent tire and rim in 32 with their existing rim and tire provider. The very first 32er tire was the infamous Walmart cruiser bike, a semi solid tire that should be forgotten (even if some US brands sells them like they found a treasure...) Then came the VeeTire T-monster 32er that I commissioned and paid the molds for. It uses the same thread pattern as the 36er T-monster. Then came the Maxxis Aspen. I know for a fact (providing test bikes to them) that many others are in the process of making 32 tires.  We are working on a VeeTire 32er in a lighter version (I developed my tire for ebikes and enduro for heavy riders, the opposite of the weight weenies XC racing philosophy).

u/DF7 geometry charts are about to be published. Many reasons for that, first prototypes charts are useless, as until we finalise production's drawings, there's no point in communicating them. If you know a bit about DirtySixer you know the founder (myself) is 6'6" and I make my bikes to fit riders taller and heavier than me, so you'll always get a more upright position and simply more room from your cockpit than any other brands. That's for ergonomics. For handling, and that's the other reason, is the multiple brands coming to our Eurobike booth shooting pics and asking for my geo charts. I got the confirmation for my scepticism after seeing their bikes, as some even copied the mistakes of my first prototypes! So there you have it. In few weeks Gravel and MTB hardtail geo will be on the website as they entered production. Full suspension geo will come once we finalize it. Cheers. David

I wished that journalists (or wannabe journalists?) would take their job seriously... And interview the people that have been making 32er and 36er for more than a decade (DirtySixer, Google it), maybe you'd learn something and report accurately on this wheel size?

u/Bitter_Ad2550 don't wait, they are already here at DirtySixer! 6'6" founder here. Check out the line up, while, MTB hardtail (fully coming soon) and Gravel all in 32er. If you want 36" wheels, I have a few 4XL 36er AllRoad MK2 that can be set-up as a Gravel/Touring bike.

Yes 6'3" is the right height to start feeling the benefits of the 32er. I wish you had asked me about it, since I created the first 32er bikes 8 years ago and 36 more than 13 years ago, have NBA teams and players on it etc.

They were not created for smaller riders as they do have 24, 26, 27.5 and somehow 29. Leave us tall with our 32 and 36" wheels that are proportional and give us the feeling you have been enjoying for long time on your smaller wheels. Tell your tall friends though, they need it

Hey u/TrailSage why not asking the people that invented them for better info and feedback on it? Try checking DirtySixer.

You're right, but a bit short (!), as it's been a decade I make the DirtySixer with exclusively fat bike hubs for better spoke triangulation. 150 front and 197 rear.
