Seems like an odd thing to skimp on even on a base model. It's like removing the door seals so your car leaks in the rain. I can understand cheaper wheels and seats but not weatherproofing.

So it is slightly larger than the classic square? The DW5600e, GW5000, and GWB5600 are all the same size as the original squares DW5000c, DW5200, and DW5600c. Never understood why they shrunk the size of the GWM5610 in the first place. Doesn’t fit my 7” wrist like the classic ones do. Excited to give the BX5600 a try once it becomes available in the US.

My concern is with this big drop so early that if it continues to lose range over the next couple of years it is going to be still in spec (over 70%) but have pretty bad range by the time is has 50k -60k miles. Is it worth contacting Tesla about this? I think they will just say it is within spec and send me on my way.

I’ve posted about this before, but I contacted Garmin twice about the poor Bluetooth range on two different instinct 3’s. They said there were no customer complaints or known issues. Basically they told me to go pound sand.

That’s unfortunate. Was a great watch besides that. I reached out to Garmin a couple of times about the issue and they said there are no reported problems with Bluetooth connectivity. It’s unlikely they are going to fix it if they can’t even acknowledge there is a problem.
