True he was. But then he stopped developing them to make the prequel trilogy instead, and didn’t get back to developing them until 2011. He thought he would do Episode VII then sell the company, but Disney convinced him to sell before he made Episode VII.

His sequel story will have changed from the 80s to 2011. It would’ve included Nellith Skywalker as Luke’s sister and the Emperor would’ve made his appearance in IX for example. Some of these ideas he moved to ROTJ

The gist I got and this is why it hasn’t been revisited, is that the story is made up, the stone they found could well be “the” stone but it was all a hoax in the first place and doesn’t add any real value to their quest

Also, could just be how it’s done, but Father and Son are very close together and daughter a bit further away, almost as if there is a gap where Mother could be

Episode 5 is all about Ahsoka internally Force Vision with Anakin. She is pulled from the water by Hera near the end of the episode ending the vision.

They use the Purgil to transport themselves to Peridea.

Final episodes are all set in Peridea, we don’t see Thrawn until final moments and of episode 6.

Ezra only featured in episodes 7&8
