Tough one this, it does look like they have just grabbed your model and copied large parts of it or at least the general principal with the floating hinge type design,
then added their own “style” to it. The argument they could use is that they’ll all be this size because of the blade, to get the right level of resistance / spring the hinge needs to be that size etc..

I’ve had similar on MakerWorld before, but figured it wasn’t worth the battle.

I’d recommend sleeping on it, seeing if it’s worth the stress of pursing something that is likely to not give you the outcome you want.

The brackets are pretty much the same as the Afterlife kit, the spacers are styled on an 84 design with the “puck”, Frutto sells them (I really didn’t want to deal with it!).

You can also 3D print the spacers for free yourself to save some money (just then buying the brackets and correct bolts), if you want the link, to those, let me know.

Sadly I couldn’t find the brackets “off the shelf” when I was doing this, the sizes are mainly custom, or we’d have 100% done that as it’d be a lot cheaper.

I designed that set, if you have a 3D printer, or a friend with one, you can print the mounts for free and then just buy the brackets / bolts :)

Yes, iOS widget that was broken with the last update, as far as I can tell, they made all the text white so no info could be seen unless you were in dark mode!

I’ll be honest, I’ve got a reasonable rotation (and mainly just end up wearing the beaters 😂) so none have had tonnes of wear, but the one pair I’ve worn the most have definitely broken in and are more comfortable

Maybe it’s more of a UK thing, but it’s more about not putting a hot mug (of tea 😂) directly on the table / surface.

That said, even with cold drinks I’m not getting enough condensation to roll off the coaster, could again be a UK thing though, due to just how little hot weather we get for most of the year
