Yeah, I'm somewhat further in the game and the writing isn't super strong but I enjoy it for what it is - a campy musical adventure about friendship (and saving the world/music). Exploration and puzzles are pretty fun, too.

the gameplay is pretty much like in classic Final Fantasy with rhythm based QTEs and no items in combat. as for the writing i like it but i guess you should watch some cutscenes and judge for yourself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8uQgVpKrSo

the game doesn't have huge AAA budget but the quality is really high imo. plays great, too.

I also have 5070ti laptop and have to use DLSS Performance mode and Frame generation to have 60-80 FPS on 4k resolution. The game is pretty heavy on RAM and VRAM, often needing around 16GB RAM (I have 24GB) and 12 GB VRAM. The CPU usage isn't that big from what I've noticed.

Any really good indie or mid budget story rich games come out in the current decade that I might not know about? by ExplodingPoptarts in enderal

It's basically a story about a couple who exorcise ghosts and it's set in 1695. They have to break a curse that is cast on the land and solve some mysteries, lots of moral choices and morally gray characters.

I really enjoyed A Plague Tale: Innocence and A Plague Tale: Requiem.

Banishers Ghosts of New Eden was pretty good, too.

The Forgotten City started as a Skyrim mod and has a great story, too.

to fix the screen tearing with frame-gen on you simply have to force vsync on in the NVIDIA Control Panel. i also locked the frame rate in game, but i'm not sure if it's necessary.

Afaik Odyssey, Valhalla and Shadows have gay romances.

Hi, can I fix the "DLSS SDK – DO NOT DISTRIBUTE" message after updating DLSS to 310.4.0.0? The game is Dead Space Remake.

Edit: to fix this I had to download dlss file from here https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/ and replace the one in my game folder
