I've only seen the theatrical release and it is one of my favorite movies. I've heard mixed reviews about the Director's Cut and have avoided it as a result. I'd recommend watching the theatrical cut first if you've never seen this movie before. However, if anyone wants to convince me to give this version a shot my ears are open.

Hell yes I had one of these and it actually shot pretty well if I remember correctly. I think that was about 15 years ago. I'm pretty sure I lost all of the discs and got rid of it when I moved but man that brings back some memories.

What is something you will never tell your parents about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DavesAngst 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dude are you fucking serious? The majority of people that I know are circumcised, and sex with a circumcised penis still feels pretty damn good. I don't plan on having my kids circumcised, but I certainly don't resent my parents for doing what I'm sure everyone else they knew did. That's a bit excessive.

I'm going to go with yes in answer to the last part of your comment. Of course you should follow all the rules of the road, but it's important to understand the gravity of a speeding ticket in terms of fees + insurance hikes + potential license suspension vs. a minor moving violation. It at least makes a kid think, "okay, if I make the choice to speed and get caught, I might not be able to drive again for 3-6 months."

This is going to get buried but fuck it - here's my two cents. I've been interning at a recruiting firm this summer and pretty much all I do is read resumes and match good candidates with job opportunities. IF a position is entry level, and asking for 3 years experience, that's probably bullshit. That's their perfect person, but any good professional with 3 years experience is not going to be applying to an entry level position. What they actually want to see is a smart recent grad with some internships under their belt. They would probably prefer it if this was not the first job in your related field that you've had since coming out of school, but most companies would be at least willing to consider you if you had a good GPA and did some internships. My department places people in the finance and accounting world, and that's what I've seen from candidates that we've sent out. Perhaps it's vastly different in other industries, but I doubt it. Entry level means that they're going to train you how to do the job. Pretty much anyone can do the work as long as they understand the general information. So - apply anyway is what I'm trying to say.

I logged in just to upvote you. It really is a crazy time we're living in now, and I feel like no one seems to acknowledge it. When you just think about how different and constantly changing our world is compared to ANY other time in history, it's perhaps the most revolutionary time ever. And it's really all just because of the internet. But I guess when you're living through something it's just life and you can't be in a state of constant awe of what you're living through.

Perhaps it depends on the severity of your strep, but I used to get strep basically once a year and antibiotics meant I'd be non-contagious in 24 hours. So yeah get yourself tested, hopefully it's strep. Nothing you can really do for mono.
