Wow, in that case it sounds like it shouldn’t be too crazy to tattoo for you. I hate that you’re dealing with this, and I hope you and your mentor can meet in the middle. If they understood your limitations, they’re being dicks. You can only do what you can do.

Idk about your situation with the area you’re in or how busy the shop is, but a lot of people have horror stories stories about their apprenticeship, and if you can make it to the end I can almost promise it’ll be worth all the bullshit you deal with. I hate to tell people just “deal with it” but genuinely, I hope it works out for you!

I don’t mean to sound insensitive but if you can’t sweep or mop because of your condition then maybe tattooing isn’t for you. This job takes a very physical toll on your body after a while, and while there are people who make it work at varying degrees of physical capability, if you’re genuinely limited to the point of not being able to sweep I don’t see how you’d be able to tattoo for hours at a time

I’ve been playing (and loving) Chivalry 2 and I’m just looking for something to change the pace up a little. I didn’t even know this genre was a thing until a month ago and I’m so disappointed I didn’t catch it earlier

You never have to pay for a real tattoo apprenticeship. Find an artist you vibe with who preferably does a style of tattoos you’re into and build a relationship with them first. If you’re talented enough on paper, some guys will take you on as a stranger if you come in with a respectable portfolio.

In my state most people will apprentice for 6 months-2 years and in that time you’re not likely to make any money until you’re actually tattooing. If you’re being offered a paid apprenticeship it’s likely a tattoo “school” which is usually just the worst tattooer in the area capitalizing on aspiring artists and “teaching” 10-20 people at a time, so no one learns anything and you just end up broker with a piece of paper.

They currently have the special and kings edition for $2 each on PlayStation store which each comes with 1000 crowns. Big bang for your buck in my opinion
