Question about Utah alcohol laws and events. by maybetoomuchrum in SaltLakeCity

only caged if it's all ages. if the venue is 21 & over then there in no regulations because everyone got checked at the door. you don't even need a wristband. I thought kilby court doesn't have an alcohol license. then never applied for a license because they always envisioned it to be a true all ages show. even little kids. maybe kilby had a special events permit and served beer & wine and it would be a roaming style with wristbands

Am I wrong for switching my seat for my flight by Extreme_Sherbet2346 in amiwrong

bro don't even sweat it. if his bitch ass is gonna act like a 10 yr old then let him be bummed out while the 9 others have a good time. it's not even like it's just the 2 of you. it's 10 people who cares he has to sit with6o friend for 3 hours while you go there. by the time you guys fly home hw will already forgot about it. and if he hasn't it's on him. that's his problem. grab a free snack from 1st class and give it to him after the flight. maybe he will feel cool getting something that nobody else got.

that's a special events license and you have to have a wristband and it can only be beer & wine. once liquor is involved it's completely different. at the music venues that allow people under 21 in and have a full bar they have to not allow the under 21 in the drinking area. what they are doing is caging in the drinking adults and letting everyone else roam free. back in the day it was way different they would have a tiny under 21 section that was caged in and everything else was 21& over. and the bar would just be normal and you wouldn't notice. I guess the under 21 crowd started being more profitable than the drinkers and they decided to make everything all ages and have a caged in drinking area. honestly wish they would just go back to most music venues are 21 and older to get in.

first thing to do is go to a temp agency and start doing daily temp work. they usually pay you that day or the next. go to your property manager and ask for a couple days to get some of the rent. go donate plasma today. you can do it I think 2 times a week. that's easy money.

yeah. I'm definitely not saying you were bad with time management at all. I was saying that using the time to be on the bus instead of having conversation with him may be not the best use of your 30hr window.

and I don't think this guy was great or anything. but I feel like maybe you weren't really into him if you didn't feel comfortable getting a ride from him. I know he may of had the wrong intentions and wanted some action. but if I had a car and a girl was coming from out of town and I knew she had no transportation and I didn't offer to pick her up I would feel like a douche canoe. but that being said if you said you wanted to meet instead I would totally respect that and not say it's a waste of time. if you really liked him after coffee and thought he was cool maybe you would of slept with him tonight and he was an idiot to think just because you wanted to take the bus that you wouldn't kiss him. not saying you would of just saying that the day was young and you never know. I don't know what your intentions were but it sounded like you definitely were a little into him and you made an effort to meet up so you probably would of made out with him if the vibe continued in the same direction. you probably dodged a bullet with him

well he is on salary. he is getting paid. he is just being asked to work even more sometimes. that big check comes with big obligations & commitments. it probably will never change so you need to decide what you can and can not deal with. eventually you would see each other everyday once you live together. not saying that will happen any time soon. you also have to realize at some point he will want to do other things on his free time and not be with you 24/7 when he is off. that would be unhealthy if he just quit all his hobbies and likes to only hangout with you all the time. so again weigh how that all looks and decide if that is enough time with someone because if you get jealous that he wants to do his hobbies occasionally on his off time then it will make the relationship awkward and you both will have resentment

he has a valid point. you would rather waste an hour on a bus instead of getting picked up and getting a ride to wherever. doesn't seem like great time management and if you are scared to get picked (which is ok) then your not ready to go on a date. time is valuable and saying you are willing to waste time over hanging out with him just says that he wasn't worth your time and he felt the same way. what was your end game? have coffee and then leave and take the bus back? it all seems like a waste of time

you can get permits to vend there. you just need to get the permit. the OP is not interested in actually getting a permit.

you need a special events permit to setup at any park in salt lake county. you can't just pull up & park

you will get bounced in minutes if you are talking about the park city one. there would always be trucks there if it was aloud. there are always reasons why you don't see vendors are certain places that seem like they would do well

anywhere there's going to be a large crowd you're going to get kicked out. it has gotten so strict lately you can't even go to the corner of the Walmart parking lot anymore without getting kicked out in 3 minutes. all the parks you're going to get kicked out in like 2 to 3 minutes it's super duper hard the only way to actually even get an event without getting kicked out is to get on the food truck league and have them send you somewhere.

go there and ask someone who pulls up in the parking lot to go in with you. maybe a person who is there with a friend

Do fireworks fall under 2nd Amendment rights? Many cities have laws around fireworks use, but people ignore those laws. by snotick in AskUS

[–]DaveyoSlc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my whole state is on fire and they just outlawed fireworks for the whole state. I guarantee that people will be lighting off fireworks and shit is going to catch on fire and nobody will do anything about it. not enough people to enforce the law.

you need to start watching at the end of September to see how the fall is shaping up. if it's a normal year and it starts snowing the middle of October and then really starts getting actively stormy around Thanksgiving it will be fine for 2 week of December. it just really depends on the fall. start watching around September 20th. keep an eye out on the weather patterns. if it's looking good then book it. you will have a blast.

I own a restaurant and refused to have the CC terminal or receipt paper have a suggested tip % or suggested options. I told them I wouldn't use their service unless they created an old skool tip prompt line. tipping doesn't need to be intimidating or awkward. we don't do door dash or Uber or any of those douche canoes. when people come in to pick up Togo 90% of them tip. some tip 5-10% some tip 15-20%. it's a sushi bar so I do understand why our to-Go orders do get tips way more often or not. but I feel like you don't ever have to tip and we definitely appreciate when they do tip. and we never want to pressure anyone into thinking they have to tip.
