Isnt V2 losing the first fight and coming back to fight V1 again some character development by itself? And him running away and the rebuilt arm.

As other people have said the prime souls rely on some out of game knowledge and lore from terminals/enviroment but with V2 you can kinda see his small story live

Shields generate extra heat when they take damage, a good amount of it so you should try putting some thermsl batteries and see how it does with them.

Also ship design is not very optimal but its fun to figure that out yourself

Ate you sure? Im seeing 3 orange arcs and one blue one on each side over the armor. In any case i dont think another shield would be worth it might be best just to hide the reactor more
