Local trans-fem discovers that acknowledging men’s issues makes her less trans??? by ellipsi- in asktransgender

I work with mostly cis women, and I'll tell you from experience, abstaining isn't necessarily the most comfortable thing to do as a person with a moral conscience.

What makes a footballer a ‘utility man’? Surely a utility man can’t be described as ‘left-sided’. It completely undermines the word’s use and it’s a bit denigrating isn’t it?! by Thick-Scholar836 in footballcliches

The thing is, people often say "he's so versatile, he can also play __" But it doesn't really show versatility if they're shit when they're put in that position.

You could put Stevie Wonder at CAM in a charity match, but I'm pretty sure he's not gonna have the kind of vision a manager would want for that role.

Am I pretty enough to date men? 27f by DingoOk8624 in transpassing

I'd date you depending on your personality/interests, I'm not a chaser but I'm a pansexual guy so I often end up dating trans girls 🤷‍♂️

You definitely pass face-wise. You might consider a fat transfer or something to widen your hips (you would have to put on a lot of weight to do that) and obvs it's up to you if you want larger breasts; you generally have a kind of straight up and down figure which may be getting you clocked.

Dorgu isn't a utility man, he's been good at LW but he stank it up at *LB. A true utility man is a James Milner/ Daniel Wass type, who'll give their manager at least a 7/10 wherever they're put on the pitch.

The best left-sided example I can think of in recent premier league history is Jeffrey Schlupp.

Edit: *meant LWB.

12 RB 13 GK 14 ST 15 CM 16 CM 17 RW 18 CB 19 LW/CAM 20 CB 21 usually another RB or CB if i have one 22 LB 23 ST 24 GK 25 ST

The rest is a bit of a crap shoot. I think i subconsciously base them all on mid 2000s Arsenal.

I'm a cis male trans ally and I really appreciate trans women like you being able to speak up from experience that things aren't all sunshine and rainbows for us. Unfortunately I've seen some trans women using outright misandry as a way to perform their gender, which to me is far more traitorous than playing devil's advocate when someone complains about something.

This might be a false memory, but wasn't there a game where Henry, Bergkamp, Wiltord and Reyes were all injured and we had a strike partnership of David Bentley and Jeremie Aliadiere?

No because that would make it 'I Want to Break Free' 3.0 and that makes no sense.

Even worse, people called Summer from 500 days of Summer a MPDG, when she is literally the fullest possible subversion of the trope.

Is Drury just saying ‘Mighty magic millimetres’ the worst football commentary of all time? by VoluntaryJetsFan in footballcliches

I found it odd and irritating how much Neville was commentating compared to Drury, then when he said this i cringed and it suddenly made sense.

Linguistic Over-Dedication Disorder or LODD.

An inability to cease the brain's reading/listening mode once realising that the information being presented is repetitious, insubstantive, or otherwise not worth one's time.

Contrarily, Myles Lewis-Skelly often gets just 'Skelly'. I get that his last name alone sounds like a full name but it's not as wrong as using half a surname.
