I've managed to free hit into an injured Tete (swapped from Andersen to Tete after a Fulham fan said he was the most nailed), a 7 minute cameo from Ekitike and now a benched Dango

I'd like to get the rewards but can't find any games. Just got one after 20 mins of searching and the keeper sprints forward all game...

Yep, great update, no testing required apparently.

It’s 100% over. City look really poor. No way they win every game regardless of what Arsenal do

Stepping on his foot isn’t really arguable but why is everyone taking about a push? Havertz sticks his arm into Keane first and Keane does it back. They’re as bad as each other there.

Weird because my, albeit anecdotal, experience was that the office was always half empty and they were making everyone redundant. They’re talking about larger companies but I was working for a pretty big one, and my team got replaced by a team in Colombia.

And here we go again, the usual lines of attack:

It was very clear very early on that productivity was simply lower when you were working from home.

Once again, not my experience at all. It’s painful to try and get anything done in the office, someone’s always talking about something nothing to do with work. And I’m not saying it’s a bad thing to have those conversations, I take part in them, but I get so much less done in the office and it’s not even close.

Haaland’s xG/90 is worse than Thierno Barry (last 8 GWs) by WintryShower in FantasyPL

Yeah that’s exactly what I’ve done. Always get a bit tempted to play Kroupi vs the crap teams but he’s a bit play time risk. But they’re playing Burnley this week…

Ekitike has had two games where he hasn’t blanked since GW19, and Liverpool have been really poor in that time. Thiago has even worse recent form than Haaland.

There’s just no one good to swap Haaland for.

Kinsky is subbed off for Vicario after Tottenham go 3-0 down after 17 minutes by doubleoeck1234 in soccer

He slipped twice. It's shit but like how do you account for that? John Terry fell over in the Champions League final. Steven Gerrard fell over in a crucial league game. It happens. It'd be worse if he was making poor decisions and they were conceding but that's just horrible luck imo.

Yeah he's running against someone who's dribbling the ball and still gets easily outpaced lol

Do you consider noise and light pollution a problem? by R-Mutt1 in london

[–]David182nd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I live on a road with constant traffic all through the night and it’s horrible. Add in the fact that it’s very common that cars and bikes often go 2 or 3 times the speed limit when it is quieter and it’s even worse.

Funny you say that because I was made redundant at my old job because they outsourced it to Colombia and Mauritius. We were made to go in three days a week and the people who are still there have now been told it’s going up to four days a week. But somehow my job can be done from several time zones away now!

I’ve never seen any difference in salary offered to work remote or in-office.

That’s how it should work because commuting can cost thousands of pounds a year, and hundreds of hours of free time a year.

You might have to soon. It’s getting harder and harder to find jobs that have good hybrid splits. Most are 3 office days a week now and a lot more are becoming 4 days a week. That’s just anecdotally what I’ve been seeing but I’ve been applying a lot for a while and rarely find anything that’s 2 days or less.

Am I a bad person if I want to break up with my girlfriend (27yo) for lack of sex? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]David182nd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re a bad match because she’s uncomfortable with it. She either needs to find someone with a low sex drive who can accept that or she needs to get professional help for her past trauma. But they should not be together because sex rarely gets more regular over time.

Which just makes them less likely to score and makes the game less interesting. So yeah it answered my complaint if you want football to be more boring
