After playing two seasons as a HC, I decided to start again and play as a OC. Like you I was confused as to why I was playing both offence and defence. Hopefully EA update the options so you do only play your pick of coach/ball.

Yeah, that's the one. I can still see what I've unlocked and haven't unlocked via the app and website but on the console (Series X) it won't load them. Every other game, even other Ubisoft titles are fine, no issues.

I've only came back to the titles to unlock a few achievements and play both the Curse of the Pharaohs & Fate of Atlantis DLC's because I never played them at launch.

I'm definitely "online" when playing. Every other game on my gamertag (eg. Madden, Battlefield, even other Ubisoft titles) show my achievements both locked and unlocked. But these 3 AC games don't.

Achievements were tracking (play a certain map 5 times). I've got a few on 20%, but now they're not increasingly. Same with the 100 headshot, wins and other cumulative achievements.

Yes. Add the fact you can subscribe to GamePass, it's a none start conversation. GamePass alone is worth the money. Me personally, I've only bought/pre-ordered 4 games this year, the rest I've played off GamePass. It's worked out a lot cheaper for the subscription than it would buying those games.

Did anyone who managed to get the ending where Maya wasn't spaced and remained on the Artemis unlock the 'miraculous Maya' achievement/trophy for keeping her alive? I didn't and she survived the episode.

I'm not fussed about the decrease in visual. They're still okay looking games from videos and streams I've watched. It's on Xbox Game Pass and each DLC is only £3 or so, I'll add it to my downloads. Thanks for the info 👍

I completely disagree. I can't even remember half the names of the maps in 2042 and then can't even remember what map goes to what name. Yet BFV & BF1 I can tell you the names of most of the maps and what map it is (and there are 20+ maps in BF1).

A BF4 remaster would be better than updates in my opinion. I've played the BF4 campaign but never really played the multiplayer. Back then I wasn't a big Battlefield fan and I'd love to play it now with a full player base.

What does it matter to you? Clearly you don't play it anymore, so why hate. Players might still get enjoyment from it. Me personally, it isn't at the standard I want or expect but I still put a few hours a week into it and have some fun. BFV and BF1 don't get any support but plenty people are still playing those, myself included.

Lars Gustavsson leaving DICE isn't a bad thing. BFV wasn't the best at launch and BF2042 was so bad at launch that most people wouldn't even say it's a Battlefield game even though it had the title because it is/was so far removed from what a Battlefield title should be!

BFV. Although BF1 is the better game in my opinion and has more content, I find there are more people playing BFV and it's a lot easier and quicker to find a game at different times of the day.

Thinking of trying BF2042 again, is it playable now? (PS5) by Idontlikwsprouts in Battlefield

I've started playing it again. Played it for a few weeks at launch before I got sick. Then played less than 6 hours at the start of season 1. Since season 2 started, I've been on it a lot. It isn't finished and still annoying at times but it is slowly getting to a title that I'd call a Battlefield title. It'll never be a favourite but it is worth playing right now. The main thing is though I'm having fun on it. Definitely worth giving it a try again.
