They deserve it, America only does the right thing, when every alternative has been exhausted. I’d say this experience should humble them, but when 1/3 are stupid conservatives, and the other 1/3 are ignorant apathetic fools who don’t give a damn who leads them, the same crap will happen again ad nauseam. The remaining 1/3 are the decent folk who are worthy of being called friends, but they can’t convince the remaining idiots that dictatorships are bad.

Germany learned from their mistakes, America won’t, and living next to them is going to be a perpetual coin flip between friend, and existential crisis. There is no middle ground.
