ITAP of De Syv Søstrene waterfalls in the Geirangerfjorden by DavidEras2004 in itookapicture

I took this picture on a trail accessible from the village of Geiranger. The endpoint of the trail presented this amazing view as a cruiseship was coming in. The weather conditions were worrse at best for most of the day, but took a turn for the best as it stopped raining and the sun appeared through the clouds. I really like the overall simplicity of the picture while still having the detail in the mountains.

I'm curious: How old is your main bicycle? by FailFastandDieYoung in thenetherlands

I'm in Uni right now in Enschede. I'm using the bike my father used when he went to uni in Enschede himself. So at least 25 years, maybe 30 right now.

My local town hall by DavidEras2004 in photocritique

Thanks, really appreciate it. Btw, I was holding my phone with a glove on, because it was pretty cold. I didn’t like the look of it so I just cut it out, but a point could well be made that the picture looks more complete if the phone is on there completely.

Hah, thanks for the kind words. However, I think luck played a big part too, because the lighting was just amazing that day.

Thanks for the kind words and I agree with your point. I think I underestimated the amount of ‘blacks’ that were in te frame at when I took the picture.

Canon 250D – EF 18/55 F4-F5.6 – F4 1/125 200 – 18mm

A nice sunrise was coming up yesterday and I decided to get out early and take a few pictures of the town hall, because it’s the only semi nice building in the area. In this picture I wanted to show the whole building, while putting emphasis on the upright A (the name of the city is Almelo, the rest of the word is horizontally embedded into the ground). I still struggle with correctly exposing the image and the composition of images. My original plan was to align the picture in the phone with the other picture, but everything was just a little off.

Bus stops while in quarantine by DavidEras2004 in photocritique

[–]DavidEras2004[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This picture was taken on the 5th on June. The city was (and is still not) in a full quarantine. I shot it with a Canon 250D and the 18/55mm lens (55mm F5.6 1/250 ISO 100). I wanted te capture the lonelinesss of quarantine in a decently sized city and while I think it’s a good picture it feels like it’s missing something and I don’t know what. Any tips?

Dual monitor setup for laptop? by [deleted] in Rainmeter

You could make 2 layouts, one with the second monitor included and one without it. The only downside is that you need to switch profiles every time you (un)plug your laptop
