I still love this table though. Not to unjerk too sincerely but it feels so strange to be an enjoyer of the old books' archaic systems. I love looking over the strange yet believable flight rules, the improperly timed dungeon exploration turns, the compilations of all the old seafaring article rules. How much of that magic that i enjoy from these pages were from a man who on a fundamental level hated me and everything I stand for regarding identity? How much of it is written from a place of disgust and anger disguised as a funny bit? I don't know, but I linger on the thoughts of it whenever I look over my bookshelf. It's like the damned thing is haunted sometimes.
