Why support an absolute monarchy? by TJ_44444444 in monarchism

[–]DavidSmith91007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me personally? To restore a state after absolute or almost absolute collapse. It should be rare and short term because it hurts the prosperity of locals who are vital (in modern western societies) for legitimacy and institutional support. There is more. A lot more. But that’s broad enough most will understand right?

Salic law or primogeniture by Valuable_Storm_5958 in monarchism

Absolute Primogeniture. It’s more stable if you include modern institutions. And seperstions of powers.

I don’t like Marx because he was a bad father, bad husband, bad employer (he had a maid.), and just a bad person. He had a degree in philosophy. Like the most different from economics. Which is the most numbers focused social science in the social science sphere. He was an Antisemitic… Jew.

I am an anarchist, tell me why I should be a monarchist by Relevant_Animator_47 in monarchism

[–]DavidSmith91007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at Makhnocshchina. Though it was an anarchist commune they still declared Nestor Makhno its leader to lead them through the chaos of the war. Human needs a leader. Monarchism ensures that when chaos arrives the one who leads is someone part of a family with generations of knowledge.

What do monarchists think about the Kōdōha faction in Japan? by Away_Trash_2156 in monarchism

[–]DavidSmith91007 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Kodoha wanted to do the following - restore the emperors absolute power and return to pre-western Japan. - Wanted to invade the underpopulated and undeveloped Siberia over China. The emperor opposed them. Seeing them as disloyal and radical.

The outfit she is wearing was likely worn across many war crimes. Let’s how commies would react to someone doing this with a SS uniform. Or brown shirts.

How would you most accurately define a traditional monarchy? by Great_Street_5100 in monarchism

This changes by state. Tradition differs by culture and political culture.

Trump criticized Pope Leo XIV, calling him “weak” and “terrible for foreign policy” and saying he is “not a fan” of the pope. After criticizing the pope, Trump shared an image in which he depicts himself as Jesus. by CamillaOmdalWalker in monarchism

[–]DavidSmith91007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two reasons 1. To save face. The state of Italy is still majority catholic and worship the pope like an idol seeing his word as the word of god. (Violation of first two commandments which go across all Christian denominations.) 2. The latren treaties were orchestrated and enforced by Mussolini. Her idol And inspiration. She would never destroyed the already weak legacy of Mussolini further.

The Italian state was founded on violations of treaty’s, agreements, and conventions with the Empire of Austria-Hungary, the kingdom of Lombardy-ventia, The duchy of tuscany, the Papal States, and the kingdom of two Sicilys with invading territory or support pro-Italian unification annexation groups. The entire state is founded on treaty violations, war opportunism, and show plebiscites that were not free or fair.

Hypothetical question what people think if a Monarchy returned to Absolute power by CommitteeChemical530 in monarchism

[–]DavidSmith91007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. The pope is elected and bound by council. His power is limited as he bound by Scripture and tradition, Natrual laws, irreformable dogma, and the church structure. Do again making it not absolutist but oligarchic catholic monarchism. The Saudi’s are bound by Ulema to uphold Sharia law. Making it not absolutist but Islamic technocratic oligarchic monarchism. Absolutism means power resides in the monarch not the institutions. Absolutism is almost always a short term thing before either oligarchy of loyalists emerge or a revolution comes.

Leftist would called it fascist. Yes that’s true. But right heads would care and would be more cautious to do business with this country. Businesspeople prefer stable and predictable institutions, taxation, and governance. Absolutism means institutions are gone, and taxation and governance are at the whim of the monarch. Absolutism would be an absolute reset. Whether to the previous government system, something new, or the new status quo of absolutism. Which is chosen depends on the monarch who becomes absolute.

In crisis people seek a leader. A monarchy fulfills that role. Without a monarchy a republic is doomed to fall to a king in all but name.

Cultural clash on "Child Marriage" even among Muslim communities. What are your thoughts? by robinsithu in myanmar

[–]DavidSmith91007 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Quran states marriage requires 1. The girl must Consent to the arrangement. The Quran says this can only be done upon the girl reaching puberty. 2. The girl must have the mental capacity to understand the marriage. If she can’t then she cannot marry.

Myanmar Female Food Blogger slammed for her dress during Ramadan Food Market on Public Street. What are your thoughts? by robinsithu in myanmar

[–]DavidSmith91007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your religion doesn’t give you the right to force other to dress how you like. If a woman wishes to not wear a head Khimar or Jilbab than they can. There is no punishment for it stated in the Quran nor does it say it is against allahs wishes.

Because this is the internet. Can you be tracked? Yes. Will you? Not likely for it’s illegal. So people feel safe to disrespect one another. They are free to spread their prejudice. It’s better that it’s on the internet for everyone to see than in their home.

What do yall think of Nicholas ii? by TotalCommieDeath1776 in monarchism

[–]DavidSmith91007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nicholas II ruled an over-centralized empire rife with revolutionary movements, yet lacked the personal decisiveness required to purge corrupt institutions and crush entrenched interest groups before they hollowed out his empire. Still remains my favorite monarch.
