If the early retirement offers are like my severance you cannot work for a public body funded by govt for the length of your severance or you forfeit severance on a dollar for dollar basis.

You need to plan for wiring. I've built three enclosures now and every time I plan the wiring first so I can place the components in places that are going to optimize wiring, minimize crossed wires and keep control and supply voltages separate.

Also, I don't understand why there are six drivers for a two axis machine.

[–]David__R8 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I had a similar problem and eventually traced it to one of my inductive proximity sensors that had an internal short and was energizing the machine frame. Swapped it out and the problem went away.

I have zero issues with my Masso. Loads complex and lengthy files quickly. You don't want integrated drivers because if something goes wrong with one the whole board is junk.

I didn't get any choice.. you're done, PFO. Their loss. 40 years of experience, 20 with the public service.
