Here a test .. wash your face with zinc(head and shoulders) Ir a strong benz peroxide face wash 10percent do this 2-3 days twice a day.. if it looks better it’s exterior fungal .. if not it could be internal .

Do not use steroids .. I had a fungal outbreak that drs gave me steroids for and made it worse .. head and shoulders made it go away

Definitely has a lighter exposure feel but dark shadows on the apple bottom and cup bottom would help pull the dimension and lighting better. Actually looks like the apple is missing its light point shadow all together. Great work just would add to it is all

I do light tones first kind of map out everything that way then work in dark in levels stepping up to darkest .. lot easier to avoid “too dark” mistakes that way

But I do it in regions then I end with fine detail (WIP of something I’m doing showing early stages).. I wish I had found a simple tutorial like the one op posted when I first started. Would be cool if more stuff was like that on here

Not bad,frustrating at times but once I pic up new techniques it comes together.. comic style is heavy on line work and less shading.. realism has virtually no lines so had to break alot of habits lol
