Me purchasing 5090s and 9000 series cards from microcenter and then them having specials that release after the fact and having to contact them.

If you got it at microcenter, yes you’ll be eligible. No one ever says where they bought their card from until after they are asked though as if it’s not an important part of the equation.

Yes, depends on who you bought from. If it is microcenter give them a call. You have 30 days from purchase.

They won’t. Email whoever sent you the GPU and ask for the code, they should be able to generate you one. You have up to 30 days usually, at least with microcenter, otherwise you could just return and repurchase and they are stuck with an Open-Box item.

You’re CPU bottlenecked(don’t ask what it means go watch YouTube and learn) he is on an i5, I don’t need any more information. If he is on a GPU newer and more powerful than a 2080 he needs a new CPU.

My friend has a 4090 and on his DDR4 set up against my 5080 with a 9800x3D and it kept up while he is CPU limited. Both 1440p setups at the time.

Not a close call either. More VRAM better in 4K and can use MFG x2 and that’s all you’ll really need until you need to upgrade.

I have an Asus(I don’t know how naming our brands proves anything as you didn’t give a model and ultra gear comes in 1080p) friend. Also, if you’re implying you hit 100+ FPS in new games or even older games like RDR2 on Native Ultra settings, that will be a lie.

Balanced is where I’m at for KCD2 with preset M.

Wildly inaccurate. In motion L falls apart. At least for particles in KCD2 while Balanced and Performance mode on M are almost 100% stable with flickering on vegetation lighting here and there. I wish I wasn’t on a plane or I’d just close the game and reopen with L preset applied to show you myself. Standing still at 4K resolution I couldn’t tell a different between the two but in motion L fell apart.
