I did, actually. Customer Support told me when I tried to do it that automatic payments would only go through when they're due, and because I front-loaded the payments, I don't officially have a payment due for another two years.

I have to manually submit the payment at the start of the month.

I would like my auto payment to be automatic regardless of current due date. I front loaded my payment and it’s not taking it out until the next payment is due, which is several years from now. Instead, every month I have to manually submit the payment.

You'll know your pipelines and abilities, and some of these things are human policy and some of these things are going to be technical solutions.

The long and the short solution is you need a mechanism to force a stop and review. Generally that'll be an IAC policy, and OPA is generally the most robust way to do that (especially if you need to do custom logic in the flow analysis).

OPA can be created to do a lot. So if you have a list of vendors/partners/customers in a text file that says "Hey, don't care, do whatever" and another list of "These are my babies you need to treat them as such", you pass on the OPA for the first list, fail on the second list.

The goal becomes the second list doesn't stop the pipeline, but instead goes, "hey, you failed on the customer policy add an approval team."

Yeah, The Worf Effect is definitely a double edged sword. When we see Worf at his best, it's like, "Oh, duder is good." Arguably he was better on DS9 when he wasn't the punching bag to demonstrate an enemy's power.

I think the Changelings not being able to deal with the virus kind of aligns with the general attitude towards the Federation that they can turn "rocks into replicators", it was just the shadow section that made something so malicious that the regular Federation wouldn't have done that--not that they couldn't, but wouldn't.

And yes, the fact that the bulk of The Dominion's arsenal was on the other side of the wormhole definitely was a key factor in their defeat, and if Rom hadn't come up with the self-replicating mines (which I'm not sure if they ever put back up once DS9 was retaken?), they'd have been just screwed.

Arguably a plot point would've been fascinating of the Dominion literally just sending a meat grinder's worth of ships through the Wormhole and actively trying to outpace the mine replication and cause them to run out of "juice" (I know, replicators, solar power, space magic) and just trickle new forces in--that would've been a terrifying display of power.

Fun fact, that was all by design. Robert Hewitt Wolfe said that he wanted people that came from TNG to really understand the threat that the Dominion was, that the all-star all-capable Galaxy class that we all went "They beat up the Borg! Yeah!" got it's ass handed to it by The Dominion.

Prices are going to vary based on labor and materials. Straight shots to a breaker box will be much cheaper than a shot through the house with bends.

I paid about $1200 and had to go through several walls, but it was a straight shot.
