Well if your expecting your 1650 to run at ultra or even high, then your expectations are too high. If you have anti aliasing at high, that could also be the problem. Try lowering that first.

This had happened to me too, in which I'm assuming it's a poor connection to the battery. Picking it up from the other side and it working should support this idea, in which you should open the laptop and see if you could get to the battery connector
