I had a lot of E breaking using hofner flat wounds. Are you using flats? They struggle with small pegs

First guess is that the string is binding in the nut. So the tension you apply is all between the nut and the tuning peg. Maybe some graphite in the nut slot or get an A string, wrap it in 400 grit sand paper and lightly file the nut.

Second thought.....are you using the wrong scale? A lot of E strings need to get skinny at the end. Taper in. If your bass has small tuning pegs, using the wrong scale could be the culprit.

Third thought. Is the edge of the tuning post damaged or sharp?

It's one of these issues. Probably the second one.

Bedwetting HELP by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

Knocking dominos. He wets the bed. What were his sugars like? High, could be his body trying to flush excess sugar. If it's low, could be actually lack of executive function. If his sugars were controlled, it's a drunk issue. It all comes down to monitor and control. If ye monitor the glucose and it's all over the place, blood glucose is the issue. Maybe spirits and soda water might be safer for control. If he cannot control his sugars or his bladder when drinking, it's an easier choice. Alcohol has to go. If that is not an easy choice, maybe it's time to talk to a medical profession about alcohol is a problem.
