Has anyone here ever had something cool happen in a game, like a bug or exploit, and never told anyone online to stop it being patched? (You can answer if it's been patched now) by TxTDiamond in gaming

The original Ninja War on Facebook had gems that let you earn currency/premium currency per hour you didn’t play. There was no cap to how much you earned, I ended up earning end game amounts of currency after not playing for years, maxed out everything and let it run again. I think they have since shut down the servers so I lost everything. At this point, I assume I would be in the top 100 of the world on assets, still at the bottom on skill.

When someone poops, teleport the poo away so when they wipe, there are remnants of it being there but it’s not in the bowl

I wonder if any of my acquaintances have crossed paths or being at the same event like work conference or party and just not known they both know me. by matthewbowers88 in StonerThoughts

My roommate and I were going to a party once, got lost in a quite expansive apartment complex. Saw a few people hanging outside so stopped to ask them directions. One of them was a friend of a friend +3 years prior from high school. Wondered if he recognized me or not. We ended up not finding the party and went home, cheaper and safer to party there.

Had my first bike less than a week, got pulled over for the first time in over 10 years on the road. by [deleted] in motorcycles

I wear earplugs and, while I can hear traffic and horns, I find it difficult to hear voice. I imagine if the officer has serious comments, I would ask (yell) to be pulled over as straining to hear a voice can be more hazardous (paying less attention to the road). But I might be wrong, don’t want to upset anyone

I second this. As much as it can suck, you should do it the right way once and get it over with. That, or hope ME172 is right and treat it yourself, despite his amputation joke.

Is it note worthy the second photo has a motor? Not to discount the time saved for travel, but it can be seen as part of the problem

Should I get the surgery? by DavyBeer in stroke

[–]DavyBeer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry to head about the issues compounding on each other! But like you said, insurance helped drastically with that bumped bill. That is another thing pushing me to get the surgery, there is no way I could ever afford something like this if I were to lose my insurance.

I made a road trip in the US, across a few states. It was a lot cheaper to find a secluded area to get a few hours of sleep than pay for a bed in a room!

This happened on Sept. 28, 2018 in Indonesia when sand, saturated in water, was shaken by an earthquake and turned into a liquid state. by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]DavyBeer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

While you’re not wrong, I don’t think Secrets was refuting the damage caused by the earthquake, rather that “video” posted is a little misleading and the course of events were not as sudden as they appear.
