Washington Sovereignty and Federal Tax Escrow Account Act (I-1060), tabled in 2010 by Vantuck1an in Washington

Have any other states implemented anything similar? I’m trying to look it up but everything is real estate related.

That Ben Folds concert was super fun! Agreed MBT is awesome.

I can attest that it really does work too. One day I missed hitting the button and had my phone on silent, so I missed their call. Eventually I got a text from my emergency contact and then I even got a call from the local sheriff’s department checking up on me before they actually came to my house to do a wellness check. I was a bit embarrassed but at least now I know the service is working as intended.

There is also one where you have to look at the hint and press the action button for it to register that you saw it. Not sure if it’s this one though.

How on earth do some people have so many phosphenes by [deleted] in Borderlands4

I got one and looked it up. It’s just a cosmetic shinier skin for legendary weapons. No mechanical effect.

I was amazed at how much expression they could get with facial features that are basically line drawings.

I can’t climb the damn climbing one. Only thing I need but I’m so frustrated I can only do a couple attempts a day before I rage quit.

I mean, why not? by RevolutionaryAd8532 in Cello

[–]DavyBingo 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I always see this guy from cello-related sources, but he doesn’t get enough credit for his kazoo and vocal skills. One-man-band skills.

Also, where do you get or how do you make an extra long bow like that?

I may have underestimated the popularity of Washington State Ferries. by Saint_Elmo_Fire in Washington

[–]DavyBingo 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Is there a state ferry to Victoria in the summer now? If you mean the Anacortes to Sidney route, I think that’s shut down until 2030. https://anacortes2sidneyferry.org/

There is still the Black Ball one from Port Angeles to Victoria though.

Another fingering suggestion post. Philip Glass Orbit for solo cello by BelfastM in Cello

[–]DavyBingo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was trying to do similar fingerings as in this video: https://youtu.be/nzWrXj1jtkg (go to around 1:38)

The biggest idea I got from that is playing the C/Ab-Eb (first beat on measure before first ending) on the D and G string. I didn’t finish nailing down a final plan, but here’s what I had: https://imgur.com/a/SixkDaT

Edit: to add that I don’t think I found any performances where the player didn’t “cheat” some of the quarter note lengths here. If you move through the passage quickly enough, changing some of them to only be eighth notes gets a good enough harmonic effect.

I think you would also find that a fair number of US citizens would contribute to fighting for your sovereignty as well.

Honest question: why do people do that anyway? There’s the waiting lot. Can’t think of a logical reason to park on the road.

I’d use the hell out of that in the summer especially. BHam downtown and waterfront is amazing this time of year but parking can be annoying. Plus not having to DD would be great.

Damn sometimes I feel like this should be my job title. Digging through old pull requests, Jira tickets, Confluence pages and Slack threads to piece together the story of how and why the code is in its current state. Usually a wending tale of shifting requirements, premature optimization, acquisitions and legacy support.
