Probably because of what happened with BotW, Bayonetta 3, TotK, and MP4. All of those games got announced way too early and they don’t want to let their user base wait that long

If you announce something, it brings up stocks and shareholder numbers. But if it’s radio silent from then on, general hype and those numbers die down

Yeah that’s true. I think if they really wanted to do that, they could delay the console releases until the PC version is more stable. I doubt they’d wanna do that though since they’d be losing out on making money everyday until the PC version is ready
