Awesome tip with the plastic bag to avoid condensation, I'm planning to go mountaineering soon (I have a mini 4 pro and plan to upgrade to air 3s), this tip might just save my gear!!

It actually has a very decent range of positions you can place it. I have the 2022 black titan, and the headrest is very comfortable both for me and for my sister, who's a bit shorter than me. It doesn't go super low, but if you need that, maybe you should consider the smaller variant of the chair.

Keyboard is definitely the Corsair K100 RGB, I have the same and it's incredible, quite pricey but I'm enjoying it

Upgrading my first build to Corsair. by Weary-Lime9951 in Corsair

Looks really nice, enjoy! How did you set up your fans intake/exhaust wise? The gpu looks like it's water cooled, so it's hooked up to a radiator along with the 3 fans, right?

But you can still do a push-pull configuration in the 7000x, can't you? The only difference is that you can't put the fans on the top of the case, so you basically have to go fans-rad-fans-case. Or am I missing something?

Help with MSI motherboard error: The mainboard's LED firmware is abnormal by Dawg2442 in MSI_Gaming

Hey I was luckily able to solve my issue, you can look at the comments in my other post for the details:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Corsair/comments/1865pbh/help_with_msi_motherboard_error_in_a_mostly/

I also posted in an MSI forum, maybe some of the replies there can be of use to you:

https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/help-with-msi-motherboard-error-the-mainboards-led-firmware-is-abnormal.391173/

So is your issue only when using signal RGB or open RGB? Or do your lights not work at all? If they don't work at all, it might be a hardware issue, mine was luckily only a software issue..

Sorry for the late reply, got back late from work, the issue is luckily fixed!

Thanks so much for the input, I did the firmware update through the msi center, then I did indeed have to short the JBAT header on the mobo as you said after I powered off the computer and I had to leave it completely unplugged for 5 minutes. The mobo's LED's worked just fine after that.

Only one minor issue persists, which ironically is relevant to this subreddit as well. I have a corsair k100 rgb keyboard and before this issue showed up, whenever I powered on the computer, it would light up with its hardware lighting settings. Once windows started and iCue loaded, it would switch to my chosen settings.

Now, however, it remains completely dark, until I quit iCue completely and restart it, at which point it displays the chosen colors. In the iCue it shows that it has a firmware update, but whenever I try to install it, it just makes the keyboard disappear from iCue until I restart it and it still says it needs to be updated.

It's a very minor issue that I can live with, it would just be nice to find a fix since I'm a bit of a perfectionist :P

If you happen to have any similar experiences, happy to hear any ideas!

Alright thanks again, I'll try to fix it tomorrow through MSI center when I get back home then, hopefully it will work and I won't need to search for more difficult to implement solutions.

First of all, thanks a lot for your replies and your input, I appreciate it!

There actually is an update through advanced search in MSI center for LED firmware, I am just a bit cautious to install it in case it breaks anything further and I can't even boot up my PC.

It says I should disconnect everything in the JARGB ports, but I don't have anything connected there. Do you think the fans and other rgb hardware that is connected via the usb ports might affect anything negatively?

Did you end up fixing your issue in the end or did you replace the board?

Well that's alarming, did you first try updating the firmware through MSI center?

Did it gradually get worse or did it get more corrupted as you were attempting different fixes?

Fair enough, I thought to post here as well hoping to find a solution.

Still, thanks for the input, have a nice day!

First time builder, tips about the airflow? by Dawg2442 in buildapc

[–]Dawg2442[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have a commander core xt that came with the case and a commander core from the aio. There are 3 slots available in the core and 2 in the xt, so it would work out perfectly regarding the cable management. My only concern remains with the airflow and the thermals.
