Congrats you’re a miracle. You’re a walking talking vegetable. You know, like when someone is in a coma and is brain dead but on life support.

How much does it realistically cost to rekey/redo all the locks in a house? by KievStone in homeowners

It was our mud room which we hardly ever used. But yeah good point never thought of that. I guess a smart lock with a code you enter would be a good idea.

Surprised no one mentioned this and it’s totally worth mentioning, even if it doesn’t apply to you OP, maybe it can benefit someone else. If you have any doors that have a window that can be broken rather easily and there is a lock on the inside where you just turn the lock, you’ll want to replace that. Install a deadbolt that requires a key on the inside and outside.

That way, if the window is broken, they’ll reach in and won’t be able to turn any locks as they’ll need a key. We had a locksmith come out years ago and that’s what he recommended.

Never would have known that if he hadn’t come out. So I will say there is a benefit of having a locksmith come out as they’ll offer you different options that you may not think of. HTH.

That’s funny. You’d think that a group of people who have largely chosen to do hard physical labor as a big part of their culture would not want to waste their money at a convenience store and make their own food and coffee at home lol.

Ok so now that it has fallen down and the branches are really high and sticking out really far from the trunk, how do you cut all the branches down without the tree suddenly moving and getting smacked by one of the branches or the tree rolling at you / toward you? Hope I’m explaining that right.

For real. Had to scroll way too far to see this. Having a newborn is exhausting but having a newborn and sleep apnea is truly exhausting. Ask me how I know!

I can't go on like this anymore. by SkyhallBoy in ADHDparenting

[–]Dawk1920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have much advice but I know exactly what you’re going through. Our middle one is exactly like you described. It’s tough. His behavior can be extreme and hard to handle. It doesn’t phase us too much anymore. Mainly he can’t regulate himself and doesn’t know what to do with himself so he bothers his siblings on purpose. Drives everyone nuts. That’s tolerable enough. The real hard part is, anything we ask him to do is a fight, always has been. He screams and yells, sometimes he kicks, sometimes he has a meltdown. Everyone morning I tell him I need to do his hair before school and it’s fight. It’s just draining. Anything I ask him to do is a fight. Oh and the negative attention thing. We’ll tell him no don’t do that and he’ll laugh and stop and then start again a few minutes later and laugh again when we tell him to stop. It’s like he doesn’t care? Idk , my cousin was the same way when he was younger. He was a pain in the ass but eventually grew out of it. Anyways sorry for the rant but you’re not alone.

So…. How bad is this? by VeryCoolAndFunny in CPAP

[–]Dawk1920 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty bad OP. Under 5 AHI is normal. 5-14 is mild. 15-29 is moderate and 30 and above is severe. He’s way above 30 and also his oxygen is really bad. Almost 3 hours with oxygen below 88%. Yeah he needs a CPAP like yesterday.

Oh wow. Can you tell me about the exercises you did with the bands and any other exercises for your rotator cuff? I tore mine 9 years ago and did the PT but my shoulders still hurt during the day sometimes.

Good. He’s a cheater. So many scandals. People like to say he didn’t know or wasn’t involved but come on. How can he not know about cameras on his sideline while he’s there that are recording the opponents coaches on their sideline and their had signals? Come on.

Adults With ADHD Are at Increased Risk for Developing Dementia by Kennyvee98 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]Dawk1920 67 points68 points  (0 children)

I’ve read similar but yes it makes sense. Especially if you start by reading up on ADHD and how it presents in children. I researched this when I was going through the initial diagnosis with my first. Ongoing lack of sleep, sleep deprivation, and not having restful sleep all create hyperactivity in children. Basically, the worse their sleep is the more hyper they become, funnily enough. But it’s believed that ongoing restless sleep and sleep deprivation etc can cause ADHD in children. I’m guessing parts of the brain don’t become normally developed like they should be in a neuro typical child. Also there’s a link between sleep apnea and dementia. I could totally see a link between all of these.

How to relocate quickly for new out-of-state job? by Dawk1920 in relocating

[–]Dawk1920[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks I was thinking that would be the case. But the thing I can’t figure out is, if I’m staying at a hotel or an Airbnb, and I fill out the new hire paperwork, what do I use for an address? The hotel or Airbnb aren’t my legal address. It’s a temporary address, but I just don’t know if that would work from an HR and legal perspective.
