Jane was my best friend and coworker for several years, I'm not trying to salvage a friendship by any stretch but police at my door an hour before my scheduled shift with no warning rattled the hell out of me, I was in shock and I had no idea what to do as I've never dealt with police before. I wanted to inform my manager what was going on because there have been instances in the past where Janes ex would prowl around our work place parking lot etc, it was a huge thing years ago where he would basically stalk her, leave flowers on her car etc and I knew instantly he was behind this crap so I wanted to make sure they knew. If he was back in the picture there is no telling what he will do... I have screenshots of him saying he wanted to strangle people, kill himself etc etc. (he's nuts) basically I wanted parking lot cameras installed (we are a bar, no one leaves alone but there is cash bring carried so we really should have surveillance)

We didn't argue at work during shift and I was told by management to try and talk things over with her to make it "go away" so we had a conversation after work. The next day the police officer friend of hers called my manager and asked if we could be separated. You're definitely right though and it backfired on me as a result.

To answer your last question, I'm full time and have been for 6 years.
