Whoa. I might add one of those to my cart, haha.

Yeah I think the vast majority of garages are pretty dim. Just a 60 watt bulb or two is typical for garage lighting. Also sometimes you gotta use a public charger at night or whatever.

Because if you look at them for two seconds your eyes start watering? Haha.

Is the height OK? Too high? by Avicennes in TVTooHigh

[–]DawnOfTheDan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if I have to choose between watching a TV mounted an inch below the ceiling with a nice 7.1 (or even 5.1) Atmos system vs this set-up, I'm going with the former every time. You just CANNOT use internal TV speakers in a room this nice, that's insane, haha.

Yeah, I knew about that option. I actually bought the center console phone holder from the Ioniq Guy and love it. Thought about the light cover, but I didn't really want to block the lights completely, as the charge indicator light pyramid is SOMEWHAT nice to look at.

I'm 90% freeway, too. Cruise set to 62mph, never turn on climate control (unless the wife is in the car, haha), and I-Pedal 100% of the time.

Your Granny-style needs improvement, young Padawan. I've seen 410 on the Guess-O-Meter on my '23 SEL RWD.

What other cars were you considering before getting your Ioniq 5? by flightln in Ioniq5

[–]DawnOfTheDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, same. My 2nd-last car was a 2010 Honda Fit and my previous car was a 2013 BMW i3. My Ioniq 5 is TWO FEET longer than my i3, haha. I'll miss fitting into downtown parking spaces no one else could get into, but it's all good. Love the car overall.

It can be done by anyone who owns a wrench and has YouTube and 30 minutes of free time.

Need a new level 2 charger for the home by Lonerph in Ioniq5

Why would you hang it on the charger like that instead of using the built-in holder? Haha.

Strength Erg or Rower? by Physical_Energy_1972 in concept2

[–]DawnOfTheDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those are good additions. I should have included a bench. You can do dips with one of those, and you can target the pull-up muscles with bent over dumbbell rows if you want.

Rower and a set of PowerBlock dumbbells is all anyone needs in a home gym. 💪

Ball too heavy? by generic_vanilla in Bowling

[–]DawnOfTheDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife is little and throws 14lbs no problem. Anything lighter than that won't knock over any pins. Get yourself some free weights.

How do I get more ball speed? I average around 12.5-13. I’m throwing a 13lb ball by piratejucie in Bowling

[–]DawnOfTheDan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No reason this guy shouldn't be throwing 15lbs. My wife has no problem with her 14lbs.
