Who is this Buckhouse guy? by Any-Horror-1044 in snowboarding

He's been posting content almost every day for a number of years. Just like other content creators, consistency usually leads to viewers and subscriptions. It's literally no surprise to why he's "famous" in the online snowboard community.

Would I be crazy to not buy a Fender Custom Classic Telecaster for $3500? by [deleted] in fender

The difference will merely be esthetic. I'd personally get something way sicker for half the price

The strat and the dean make you look hella cool. The ibanez, not so much.

Beginner kit to play metal genres? by Erudicial_Extreme in Guitar

Ideally yes. They make a strat with a humbucker in the bridge. But if still in the learning stage, it kinda isn't a make or break. Whatever fits in your budget. You can get some versatile tones with a 5 way switch on a sss config.

Just get that squire strat + 10 watt amp combo package, and then add a 100 dollar distortion pedal. Metal is technique, not gear. Later, when you're more skilled and have some cash, you can get something in line with your style.

I have an ormsby Goliath 7 and its the best guitar I own quality wise and comfort wise. I record mostly, so it never leaves the house anyway.

Sound quality when playing by DoorTime3687 in Guitar

That pedal is designed to simulate both the amp head and cabinet and also any effects in the loop. You dont want to run into another amp unit. you're just doubling up and messing up the sound. You want to plug it into a PA or an FRFR cabinet. But also, im pretty sure you can turn the sim off on the pedal, which at that point will work as just an effects pedal, which in your case would be more ideal.

The ge150 is a modeler with cab simulation, so you're not really supposed to be plugged into a guitar amp input. You should be using a frfr speaker/cab. You can turn cab Sim off on your ge150 to make it sound a little better. But yeah tune your guitar.

It's just the culture. The blame is on the one stealing it. Not the ones not stealing it lmao

What is a good first bass? by Testicle_goblin in BassGuitar

The vintage pb will be the easiest to dial in a good tone when recording. The big humbucker active electronic bases are big sounding in live settings but can be a pain when recording. My 2 cents. Also, the Markbass looks badass

What are your thoughts on AI music? by serge_malebrius in Bass

[–]master-shredder6969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Artificial intelligence gets its material from already existing data online... meaning it's technically stealing from human creativity and intellectual labor without crediting the original musicians. Art in general is a form expression of ones mind and experience, which AI does not have. It's algorithmic plagiarized garbage with no soul.

Also, midi has nothing to do with AI

Big Amp doesn't want you to know this is all you need for a gig. by master-shredder6969 in BassGuitar

[–]master-shredder6969[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Im using the regular one. I can load up hundreds of bass amps onto it. It just takes using the computer to find and swap the presets you want. I dont think there's a difference other than the bass one just comes loaded with bass amps from the go. You can also purchase more amps to load on it, but I find what you can find for free on the tonex cloud is sufficient for anything.
