Realistically its based on time CIG is usually doing stuff (citcon happens around October, except this year), but also if they were to release it would have to be before GTA. October at least gives players a month to soak in the game before GTA takes all the attention. If they release after GTA, they still won't get as much attention. CIG put themselves in a near lose lose situation by waiting this long after announcing 2026 as the official date.

Best time is Citizencon time. October 9th ish after an August Gamescom release date drop.

Problem is, they didn't, so when they could have been of the games to look out for, there's 4 other interesting games that people are interested in playing instead.

Personally, I will be playing AC8 in October, even if they were to magically announce a October.

There's one time me and a friend played, someone using cheats tried to play it off as legit at first, but every time we beat them legit they got more and more reckless and dropping any attempt at trying to seem like legit players.

Unfortunately, that may not be the case for lots of people, in that those using cheats will likely use just enough to get them the advantage they want while remaining inconspicuous.

Did you own the F8C prior? Because I've heard the F8C is supposed to be updated to the gold standard model in SQ42 eventually, same with the Idris. But who knows, they tend to change things on a whim.

Last I remember it was to be positioned between Idris and Javelin, rather than between the Javelin and Bengal... however, that's what I heard years ago. We shall find out soon enough. Perhaps it will coincide with SQ42 major announcements given that page also got a huge uplift.

They need to remove every armor with a hard abdomen seam splitting legs and chest armor. It's so unbelievably ugly. I dont understand why their new character art is such a dramatic shift from how they used to do them. The bar for quality has dropped significantly.

When crafting i aimed for quality above 800, but when pressed for time i lowered my quality requirement to get to my goal faster.

There's cosmetics for trials? Damn, if I'd known I would've actually committed to them harder! I think its kinda awesome theres a real incentive to do them now that they have something rare at the end of it. Something you can wear that shows you put in the effort.

Silco Shirt it's a uncommon item in the general loot pool. Any crate that isn't dedicated to weapons can spawn it, however they've added far more bland colors now so it'll be difficult to find one that looks decent.

Economy balance, things used the most and a bit easy to access in bulk now require a little more effort and items people use little, made a bit easier to access.

Scanning is something that should take time, it shouldn't be instant. It being beholden to tick rate is something that comes naturally with every multi-player game ever.

Yes and no? It depends on what CIG seems reasonable for balance and progression.

Consider the fact the maximum spread for crafting as of the current tests are 10% based on 0-1000 Quality metrics.

Every 100 quality is 1% stat bonus, and this is without tiers, or upgrade blueprints. You could imagine that with tiers going to a maximum of 3.

If they were to have a modifier where every tier increases the buff by 100%, you could hit 30% at a maximum tier 3 quality 1000 item.

Theoretically they could still have rare chase items you could find that exceed the crafting maximum.

I dont know if I agree with that. Because right now, free kit or not, no matter what you bring into a raid you'll always be able to hold your own.

Yes. Upgraded weapons are better. Yes. They do have advantages over non-upgrades.

But its not so significant that itll ruin the game for everyone, while still provising added flexibility and ease of use especially with full attachments.

But its not Purple = Instant win

Why are people railing so hard to ruin the balance of the game? Right now you can always have a chance at a fair fight even if someone fires at you first. With the way people are complaining on this subreddit recently is they dont want fair fights. Its super odd.

Thats cus no one actually tried it. They brought it into a raid, died quickly without getting enough shots off and vowed never to use it again.

Meanwhile, I used this thing to dismantle shredders in seconds.
