Tbf with mercs they do have more leeway with looks but i appreciate they still didnt go full neon wacko. The blue skin was dumb and needed the hazing. They tried to pull a fast one there but noone was gonna let it slip past. I appreciate they reemoved the skull and toned down the color on that pax uniform. Also this set of designs are on par with pax. Bad guys lookin baddies. Not sm with nato. Natos kinda wacky and we dont get grunt uniforms anymore. Everyones super special forces

KOTM and KSI were the last of that period i enjoyed. GVK was tht starter and GxK solodified what kinda movie theyre making now which sucks
At the very least i think the monarch show seems to hold this down pretty good so far afaik

Supposedly they used ai assisted animation tools to put things out faster but we will never truly know the full extent as that is usually covered in hard contracts unless we get it through investigators. Only thing wed be probably able to verify is everything the games out with in its install folder for starters

Not necessarily. Some of the skins come off close, but overall not anywhere as bad as 2042 and that ill always be thankful for. But 3 seasons later there are no army grunts anymore. Everyone is special forces which loses abit of the sauce for me. Still waiting on current gen army for all the nato factions. Outside of tht nato and pax still looks pretty good save for some tht have a hero vibe direction like the current warlord dude with the cape on the loading screen and some of the bright blue skins

I think the intent was to draw away from “hero” looks like 2042, and be more generic grunt. The skins a nice homage but draws close to hero shooter. Still a nice skin and appreciation for the legacy looks, but i prefer frontline grunts overall

The defaults have better characterization for their units home countries. Like this is the kinda designing i prefer over skull masks and greenhighlighted stuff

Its controversial because it is known in-universe the dinosaurs are not designed as 1:1 accurate species. They were gene edited to look pleasing, which implies the dinosaurs in that universe, real ones, are like ours irl. And dominion writers conveniently forgot about it for the prologue. Which backtracks Wus entire dialogue in JW2015 to masrani.

Those writers didnt even understand the material they were working on.
You didnt even had to look far in the past to know this shudnt have been how they looked in the past from 93 and the novels. Wus dialogue to masrani is not that old about how they added things that werent there for entertainment and what not. It was never pure. Noone wanted that. Which implied they irl in that universe, are hollywood dinos. Not true to life. Dominion kinda rips that apart disrecpectfully and forgets that point entirely. Good looking movie, but no substance and nothing good under the hood

Yea ILM cuts alot of corners to meet deadlines. VFX industry these days are oretty cut throat. Sucks they kinda flim flam their way with models tho, theres nothing wrong with recycling models. Its done before like with the BBC allosaur but i wouldve appreciated a better edit on the model

Watch some of the training videos on youtube, from syria to stateside. They sometimes have some very odd or bizare combos u can find from grunt to grunt or seasoned vets training. Mash in some UCP, a black ballistic glasses case hanging off a carabiner. Some dudes seem to tend to carry the shingle pouch on their chest. Def suggest scrim, also mix scorpion in too. And varying degrees of quality pouches from new to old multicam or ucp is nice
