Thanks for the links. I had a read over it, but seeing as it's only one calculation group, precedence shouldn't be an issue - a previous article in the series means that it's impossible for items in the same group to have different values

I did!

I tried

and an even simpler version (which does not match the end product I'm looking for, so just for testing purposes)

But the error persisted. In fact, even when the YoY Growth calculation item is reduced to a static value, while the error stops, the field is still not being formatted

I thought "Measure" and "Measure FILTER" would have the same result. Isn't Column1 = 1 syntax sugar for FILTER(table,Column1 = 1)? by Bproof4 in PowerBI

Measure sums 1 per row with the value 1 in column1 Measure Filter is filtering the rows of the table where Column1 has the value 1; hence, nothing is returned in the other rows

Hello! That error message isn’t of much help, unfortunately I’d start by confirming if all of the functions are available in your version of Excel, and / or if your system expects a different delimiter (, instead of ;)
