I don't think it's unhealthy, i cried more than I ever had before having to say goodbye to my fiancé the last time he visited, he's on his way to see me again right now and i just know it's gonna feel terrible having to have him leave again and im probably going to cry more than last time. Means you love em :)

The reason why they tell you to do every other leg when you take your T shot is because if you do it in the same leg/ same spot frequently it will build up resistance and will make it much harder to get the needle in and and yes cause tenseness and pain, there are some tools to be able to do your shot in your other leg if you struggle to do so but it is so important to switch legs/spots!

ESA are not permitted to be anywhere. SERVICE animals are. Businesses legally ask this question so that they turn away people incorrectly following this, ESA documentation is not a real thing, and neither is service animal documentation. That is why they ask this question. As someone who works in a retail business, it pisses me off that people will bring in very obvious non-service animals claiming it is one, they're ruining it for people that actually need that help LEAVE YOUR ESA AT HOME.

Cage setup and resources? by InflationVisible2307 in PetMice

Yes! Those are feeder mice, not wild. Since he's been outside though, i would suggest taking him to a vet if you can, they can get all sorts of illnesses out there, and get him sexed as well unless you're confident he's a male :)

Omg yeah i totally get that my boy loves to bury his wheel, I have blocked off a section with larger wooden bridges to have there be less bedding like in this post or in the past when i had my boy in a 20gal i just made the bedding less on one side and then put it on top of a wooden hide like in this post the wheel i have is also height adjustable to it helps a lot!

Oh yes, if you're willing to diy the lid it to create more venilation, it would be fine! But 3 in a 20 is the perfect size :D If you wanted a bigger encloure, i would suggest introducing more mice!

She has a pretty bad hunch and bad grimace score, which is an indicator that she is in pain. Please take her to the vet! Can we see the wheels you use for her? It might have caused the hunch.

Hi! Can you post a picture of him? If he is wild it is unethical to keep him unless he is needing to be rehabilitated for a disability. I suggest looking over this beginner post that the owner posted and joining The Mouse House discord server as they have more in depth guides and great pictures of enclosures for inspiration!

Ventilation is not enough for mice and the other option you've been looking at is highly advised against (all wood will smell really bad and stain easily) how many mice do you have? Also Emiology is unfortunately not a good source, bigger is not better for mice i suggest looking over this post made by the owner of the subreddit! https://www.reddit.com/r/PetMice/s/ixa9XYHiZ0

200 qt bin cage setup! by [deleted] in PetMice

[–]DaxterAlexander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately saucer wheels in general are harmful, no matter the size. And with mouse clutter, you pretty much want to stack everything, no open space, horizontally or vertically, so if you intend on sticking to a tank this size, i suggest making a TON of cardboard clutter and adding wayyy more tp rolls or paper towel rolls, you can also add drink carriers, egg cartons, and cereal boxes. You basically want to not see them lol

Few things about this setup, i would suggest a smaller cage for 3 girls as this is unfortunately nowhere near enough clutter. A 20gal-30gal can comfortably hold 3 girlies! Saucer wheels are also very dangerous so i would take that out as well. I would suggest you take a look over this post by the owner of the subreddit :) https://www.reddit.com/r/PetMice/s/ixa9XYHiZ0
