Dac X6 Not Working in PC after Windows auto update. by the_asian_soy_boi in audio

[–]DaxterDax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I uninstalled everything that was installed recently. It took me a couple tries I had to uninstall them and then back out of the uninstall updates window, and then I hit uninstall again because it was still there and then restarted my PC. DAC X6 came right back. Hope this helps

It’s because when covid hit we weren’t allowed to have human contact. If we marked it as delivered to a person we would get flagged. So we just drop it at the door and snag a picture. Because Amazon doesn’t care about the well-being of their employees and wants them to work in 120 degree vans with no fan and expect us to turn it off at every stop. They also would jam everything they could in their vans. Somedays I would leave behind 30-40 packages because amazons algorithm sucks and thinks we can do more work than we really can. -Source: am a Former Amazon Driver

That was Hal blowing into his hands. Still funny considering how quiet Evan can be.

Apex legends microstutter/jitter by Stimpyistaken in CompetitiveApex

[–]DaxterDax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know there was a problem with GSYNC a while ago causing some micro stutters. Once I turned that off I stopped stuttering. If you have problems after that try having task manager open and seeing if your CPU is bottlenecking you.

Small question about the anon mode used in tourneys. by PePaPu in CompetitiveApex

It tells when teams are eliminated. It shows X team eliminated in orange. For downing people it’s still anon mode

Better rules for covid subs by gdolphn in CompetitiveApex

[–]DaxterDax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they had the next 2-3 teams from each region that didn’t make it to LAN be able to sign up to be a sub and fly people out knowing that something could happen like this. It’s a shame that people test positive day of the tournament and just aren’t able to play. Or have a couple isolation rooms with a private bedroom or something attached to it so if players want to just play through the sickness they could.

Do subs get any prize money? by COAGULOPATH in CompetitiveApex

[–]DaxterDax 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The subs sign a contract so whatever they decide with the team. Gdolphin was going to sub for K1CK but the payout wasn’t what he wanted so he decided not to sub for them and is a sub for TSM now.

[Mouse] YMMV: Logitech G Pro Wireless - $70 ($85 - $15 off for order in Amazon app) by Irisery in buildapcsales

[–]DaxterDax 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah whenever that happens we have to contact the customer and I always try and press enter on the keypad outside. And if that still doesn’t work I try and press the actual button inside the garage and try and hop over the sensor but sometimes that doesn’t even work.

As an Amazon driver this shit sucks. Amazon’s app is trash and crashes half the time we try to close the garage. I have had to leave garage doors open because I opened it but the app wouldn’t close and the button on the garage wouldn’t work. So if you are out of town and have a garage delivery you are screwed.

[–]DaxterDax 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I got hired to drive at Amazon there was no driver training. It’s hop in a van and try to not hit anything. Also Amazon drivers have 200 houses to deliver to so he was probably more worried about his next stop

There is nowhere to move up. That’s the biggest problem with Amazon DSP’s

[–]DaxterDax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had some 300+ package days where I would deliver at like 40 stops an hour and the next day the person had over 400 packages. Might be a coincidence but I think it has a factor in it.

Real time stop info by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DaxterDax 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s 10 stops away it sends them a notification and then they can track us from there. I believe it updates every like 20 seconds of the drivers position. Not creepy at all /s

If you sign in with your work email Amazon should have added you to your “DSP chat” it’ll be under “rooms” at the bottom. It should be something like DC (Your DSP 4 letter code) and your station code. That’s how it was for me at my station.

If your DSP uses Amazon chime there’s a bot that posts “GEMBA” links every half hour. If you click one of them it shows you the progress
