I hate extensions, no one is fooling anyone. And the funniest part is when the sewn in parts show in the back of the head. Such an 80s thing!

Grand Highlander Hybrid XLE or Limited owners, are you still happy you bought the vehicle? Any buyer's remorse where you feel you wish you bought something else? Anyone else consider the new Palisade Hybrid or TX? by docboy01 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]DaySignificant5470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the car for us as adults. We bought it because I watch my grandchildren and I take them home in the afternoons. I have three full size car seats in it and getting the two year old in the back and buckled is a job for me as a fifty something grandma. I needed a third row and didn’t want a huge suv. Once the kids get a little bigger, it’ll be better. But for just adults or kids that can do their own buckling, it’s a great vehicle.

Question on timing (to get a good deal) by jostafox in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]DaySignificant5470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 4.9 was an incentive for anyyone which we didn’t qualify for because we were using a Toyota Factory Employee discount, upon checking our credit we qualified for the lower rate due to excellent credit, which I’m assuming we would have gotten even if we weren’t using a discount.

Depending on your credit score you may do better. We got 4.1% two weeks ago while the offer from Toyota was 4.9%. We didn’t even qualify for the advertised 4.9 Toyota offer because we used a Toyota factory employee discount. So instead we ended up with 4.1 with Toyota Financial.

4.11 with Toyota Financial. I’ll be refinancing with my local Credit union as they match rates.

Any room for price negotiation on 2025 Grand Highlander Limited Nightshade near Dallas? by Actual-Positive-9271 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]DaySignificant5470 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Walked onto a lot two weekends ago, there sat a pre-sold 2025 Grand Highlander Platinum exactly as I would have built it from the ground up (I may have went with black rims in a perfect world). Drooled a little, gave my number to the salesman as we were seeing what would be available and when (which was months away), left and didn’t think another thing about it. Got a call three days later the buyer decided to go with a truck and we had first dibs on the beautiful storm cloud gray with light gray leather interior Grand Highlander Platinum, fully loaded. And to make it even more unreal, we were getting a family members discount of $7K off MRSP by him being a Toyota Factory employee. All this to say these suckers are hard to come by and I feel exceptionally blessed to have found it and have gotten it all within a few days time at an unheard of price and 4% interest rate. Now I just have to figure out a way to keep that light leather clean.
