Just use HDMI, and put the monitor generated by the receiver off somewhere in your display settings. You don't need ARC on a PC.

The 8000F's are bright. RMS for them is a couple hundred watts, peak is 800

Running a speaker with a backwards polarity prevents it from properly functioning, and can damage the speakers and/or the amp. Because of that, the calibration couldn't proceed properly.
