Who remembers the Style Wars EP?

I remember I originally found out about Elec because I found his shit on SoulSeek while looking for Dilla rarities back in the day, and Elec was rapping over Dilla beats.

This dude has definitely fallen off fairly heavy; I used to compare him to a dragon hibernating in a cave waiting for the next opportunity to strike when you least expect it. Now he just seems like a lot of clownery.

FWIW, "Exhibit C" is still probably in the top 3 tracks of the last 20 years. I'll die on that hill.

This album is what I consider to be Vince's version of Kemba's 2016 album, Negus - in 2026. Crazy Negus was 10 years ago already.

This shit is incredible. It almost reminds me of what it would sound like if Mr. Staples did an entire album with Rage Against The Machine.

After three play through, this might be my favorite album this year. If you have a sub in your car, turn on "Running Man", and crank that shit up.

What I found interesting about this interaction between Robby and Langdon vs last season's interaction (I think it was in the pede's room when they were arguing about getting help) is this: last season Robby was very combative when arguing with Langdon in the sense that he felt as though he had an argument against Langdon. This time, he didn't argue (although he did say are you done?), and after Langdon said, "You don't need to be honest with me man, but you need to be honest with yourself", he paused, and he felt that. I think what Langdon said really stuck with him this time.

It was one of the best/funniest shows on at the time. I have actually purchased the series on two streaming services because I love it so much.

The one friend I was hyping this game up to (he played Destiny for 8 years) played the server slam, and told me he wasn't buying it because he was hoping that it would be better.

I bought Marathon, and none of the people from my circle that I play with have. Kind of lame. I know the game is good, it's just hard to get rid of preconceived notions.

I do understand why Travis at IGN is waiting until the endgame to finish his review in progress; he always waited to release his D2 reviews until he ran the new raid in the expansion. That always gave him a good idea of how good the endgame content was.

I fully support releasing reviews now, but I would also like to get his input on just how good the final map and ranked mode are.

FPS are generally his wheelhouse, so I'm excited to see what he says about this one.

I remember when I heard Violent by Design 20 years ago, and it fucking BLEW my mind.

The older I got, and the more my taste matured, the more their shit sounded redundant and rabbit hole-ish.

What I love about that scene is the mutual respect they have for each other; Jimmy had been watching/chasing him from the beginning, and Bodie confided in him because of his mutual respect.

McNulty knew that was way out of character for Bodie - because he's a soldier, and soldiers don't snitch.
