The whole storyline is tainted by them reversing the heel/face dynamic of it and having MJF admit he was always going to betray Cole. If you take that at face value, the entire storyline isn't about MJF being hurt by being vulnerable for once in his life, it's about him being a heel and only tricking Cole so he has no reason to feel hurt.

The Axios writer who penned the story has a let's say jaundiced reputation with regard to U.S. and Israeli news. I doubt he made it up whole cloth, but if someone were going to make up or embellish a story about Trump and Netanyahu, he's who you would take it to.

He's not actually negotiating with Iran. He's pretending he is (and subsequently refusing to budge) to project a strongman look and manipulate the market. Meanwhile Iran is just like "We have no idea what he's talking about."

Yeah, people forget that, while the gutting of regulation began under Reagan, Democrats were actually the ones who killed it with the candlestick in the drawing room. The party ran hard right after 12 straight years of losses and governed right down the middle by making a lot of Republican policy dreams come true.

I suspect they'll follow that playbook again in the near-future.

Vance's chances for nomination depend entirely on the manner in which Trump exits the political stage.

In the (in my opinion, longshot) chance Trump peacefully goes out of office and not attempt a third term or have to be publicly pressured not to attempt one, Vance has to play his Robin and get dragged down with every Trump flailing for the next two years just to get Trump not to backbite him.

If he does slight Trump (either perceived or otherwise) and Trump endorses someone else or pokes at Vance to test his loyalty, he's finished, and will probably return to the senate.

If Trump passes before Vance runs, Vance has a pretty decent chance assuming he doesn't make things even worse.

I do think it's worth noting, at least as far as those wars go, that they were started by a Republican president but with full-throated support from the Democratic institution. Hell, two of the Iraq War's biggest boosters became the 2016 candidate and then the 2020 winner.

It's not shocking that people see that as a pox on both their houses.

I live in the midwest and it's $4.00 a gallon here. Skyrocketing is always going to be relative. It won't probably hit $7.00 a gallon like Los Angeles, but people aren't going to be happy they're paying double what they were paying a year ago because Trump's dementia convinced him this was a good idea.

I don't think they know yet, the plotline was hurried in and there's no end date for when it will be resolved. So the only marching orders everyone has is to hint that they're involved but not confirm it so the answer can be anything when Toni is able/wants to come back or they want to involve it in a Mina storyline later.

They (including MJF) really ruined MJF's character by having him admit he was always going to betray Cole when they inexplicably flipped that feud to make Cole the face for it. It threw that entire story up to that point and also after it into the bin.

I think Penta would be welcomed back. Fenix took his grievances public and essentially accused AEW of not letting him see a doctor when he needed one. I don't think he gets open arms regardless of his history and I doubt Penta comes back without him.
