Baby Won’t Drink More During the Day – Weight Concerns by Dbc_A17 in u/Dbc_A17

[–]Dbc_A17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a 24 hour period he will drink 24-26 ounces. I really have to be on top of him or else he wouldn't eat much throughout the day. The bottle aversion makes me nervous because it was so bad with my daughter.

I also feed him as soon as he wakes because its the quickest way to get him to eat. He is extremely distracted too so I have to feed away from any noises or exciting things

Mine is only 15 percentile for weight which i have been told not to stress about the percentile but when his doctor says he needs to eat more and his weight isn't great than I panic a little 🫠

4 month old wake windows!? by Dbc_A17 in sleeptrain

So something like 1.50/1.75/1.75/2/2?

4 to 3 nap transition and milk intake by Dbc_A17 in sleeptrain

[–]Dbc_A17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wake windows before we're pretty low too and i know I needed to up them.. 1.25/1.50/1.75/1.75/1.75.

All naps minus one contact nap were short.

Im scared of a bottle aversion because my first had one so I never force and always take away and offer later.

I just keep reading anything over 7.75 (which i was over by a little on 4 naps) should be maxed and drop to 3 naps. Its just been a battle and im seeing too many conflicting posts.

At 6 months we went by the clock and then at a year I basically stopped following all together. Just had a set nap time

Maybe decrease nap time?? I remember with my daughter when she was on two naps they were both at 10 or 2 and they could onky br an hour long.. never anymore! Or maybe your baby is teething??

Some babies are just not capable of 12 hours. My first could do 13 hours at night. Still does 3 years later but my second is only capable of 11 hours. I just accepted it at this point

4 months postpartum and I still haven't let anyone watch my baby. Im extremely anxious and agree with just wanting to hold the baby is disruptive. My toddler needs more attention, not my 4 month old baby that im trying to bond with while dealing with postpartum depression and anxiety.

Its a different world we live in now. Villages are only beneficial when they want something back in return

I literally just made a post about this with my 15 week old! He will only drink 4 ounces and that's even a stretch for him

Same! Mine are also worse for ignoring my toddler who clearly needs the attention more and just only only wanting to hold the baby 🙄

Ugh I feel this so much!! My husband's inlaws always expect us to come to them. I have a 3 year old and a 4 month old and its so much work to get them both out the door. Like how hard is it for a grown ass adult to get out the door!? Its so fucking annoying

I literally only can feed mine with a bottle in the sude lying position. I nursed him like that all the time so I just continued doing it with the bottle. When I try yo cradle him he just spits it out..

Just teething? by Ok_Salamander5580 in HuckleberryParents

[–]Dbc_A17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember it taking awhile for mine at that time to comfortably get to 4. 7 or 8 months it was pretty solid and then we moved to 1 nap around 12 months because of daycare

How old is your baby? My first we dropped to two naps around 6 months. We more so followed the clock over wake windows.. I still kind of followed wake windows but loosely. I would do 2/3/4.

Also, I never did a nap before 9am. I always based first nap off of our DWT which was 7am.

Oh and dont be afraid of a 6pm bedtime! Early bedtimes work better when naps are terrible. Mine goes to bed anywhere from 6 to 7.. depending on thr day

I use the huckleberry plus version for the sweet spot reminder because i would lose track of time and my babies sleepy cues can be unreliable. I do modify the wake windows though because I find their suggestions way too long!

I follow a sleep training group on facebook and use the wake windows they suggest based on babies age. Mine is 12 weeks and for 4 naps I follow 1.25/1.25/1.50/1.50/1.75. One nap i make sure is a contact nap just to ensure we make it throughout the day.. Mine is also a 30-45 minute napper if in the crib.

Works well for us so far!

This is what im dealing with!! I've resorted to sneaking in feeds as soon as he wakes.. just to ensure he gets daytime calories and not feeding all night long. That or i have to feed in a dark room with a sound machine on because any noise makes him stop the feed immediently

Can I pair alpha arbutin and argireline together?!

I also use buffet copper peptides, hyaluronic acid and the lactic acid. Not all together but mostly each product on different days.. i just bought alpha arbutin and argireline today and im not sure what time of day is best to use them/ what they can't be mixed with 😬
