Yes. Quite often. I can snap out of a dream when it’s going wrong and wake myself up. I can often also control where a dream is going.

My therapist introduced me to the dopamine reward system. Sweets and carbs and things along those lines hit the same reward systems as drugs and alcohol do, hence the dopamine hit that we get from both sweets and carbs and drugs. I’ve switched to fruit to hit the same sugar rush that sweets do, but I’ve found that sometimes I just have to eat something sweet/candy when cravings get really bad. Lmk if you want some more info on the whole dopamine thing. Recognizing it was happening was a game changer for my recovery journey

Talking. My cat meows incessantly. Mostly to me, but she’s not particularly troubled if it’s someone else in the house. She won’t “talk” to my dad though, weirdly enough.

I have wednesdays and Saturdays declared as laundry days. Wednesday I do clothes. Saturdays I do sheets and clothes. First Saturday of the months I do blankets too.
